In the second [Content Hacker Lecture] (https://www.contenthacker.today/search?q=%E5%85%A7%E5%AE%B9%E9%A7%AD%E5%AE%A2%E8%AC%9B%E5%BA%A7) held recently, I introduced blog writing strategies to everyone, briefly discussed the benefits of blog writing, and how to write blog articles with your own style and voice?

After the meeting, a colleague asked me a question: Is it possible to create opportunities to take on cases by blogging? This is indeed a very practical issue, and I would also like to take this opportunity to share some of my thoughts with you.

According to foreign statistics, 40% of bloggers rely on display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to make money. This shows that this traditional method of increasing traffic and then relying on advertising to monetize is still the mainstream in the market.

There are also bloggers who have been working in a specific field for a long time and gradually developed their own style or characteristics through accumulation bit by bit, so they have the opportunity to receive unsolicited invitations from some manufacturers. For example, I have received some invitations, ranging from experiencing 3C products to visiting scenic spots. A publisher even asked me to write a book because of this.

In addition to the profit model of advertising and proactive invitations from manufacturers mentioned above, there are also some bloggers who accept business cooperation projects and earn commissions or profits by writing “unboxing articles” or experiencing service experiences. Currently, on Facebook, there are some groups specially established for bloggers. Manufacturers or related industry members share information about taking on cases. Interested people can apply for them on their own.

For example, in the “Blogger Case Acceptance Information Sharing” community, managers will list clear specifications for manufacturers and bloggers, and provide a cooperation channel for owners and bloggers in need. There are actually many such communities, and friends who are interested may wish to take a look.

If you want to make money by blogging, it is recommended that you first try to write down your own characteristics and highlights, and slowly build your own brand image, so that you can have substantial influence. Although it is important to chase traffic or revenue, if you focus too much on gains and losses, you will not only lose the joy of writing, but you may also lose more than you gain by forgetting your original intention.

I would suggest friends who are interested in blog writing to start with your major or interest, because writing requires long-term accumulation and may not be able to achieve immediate results. But if you lose interest after writing a few articles, or if you feel frustrated when you see no improvement in traffic in the short term, you will definitely not succeed. Running a blog is like participating in a marathon with no end in sight. What everyone competes with is not only writing skills and speed, but also enthusiasm, perseverance and patience.

Looking back on my past blogging career, although I did not make a lot of money from writing, I made many good friends and broadened my horizons. These intangible gains are actually far more meaningful and valuable than money.

Of course, content monetization is necessary, but methods and mentality are also very important. I will continue to share it with you in the Content Hacker Lecture in the future. Friends who are interested are welcome to study together!
