He is currently studying law at National Chengchi University. He is an accountant, a half-lawyer, and an entrepreneur. Creating value is what entrepreneurs should do, the effective integration and utilization of resources is what accountants should do, and how to fairly allocate rights and obligations is what legal professionals should do. I hope that I can use a flexible thinking mode, try to solve problems in a cross-domain integrated way, and also try to see things from the perspective of an entrepreneur in the business world. [Why we reprint this article] Although writing articles and speaking are two different things, they also have similarities. How to make an accurate review without losing courtesy and grace? Well, now let us learn from Teacher Wang Yilang through the articles of accountant Zhuang Shijin!
From tools to life stories
On the evening of April 11th, I was fortunate enough to participate in the “[Polite and unceremonious comments](https://docs.google.com/for” hosted by teacher Wang Yilang ms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccBJDV5aTQwYl_i1idLYhRtJXxZpsUZ7pJr3Yqs2hbQUh4AQ/viewform)” course, the teacher proposed many tools and methods in class, but what deeply resonated with me was his life story.
This [course](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccBJDV5aTQwYl_i1idLYhRtJXxZpsUZ7pJr3Yqs2hbQUh4AQ /viewform) was born because the organizer [Xu Hanting] (https://www.facebook.com/Vitorissa) usually allows students to practice a lot and give feedback when teaching, but she always feels that she is too “direct”. Therefore, in the warm-up session of the lecture hall under the big tree on February 28, I saw Teacher Wang Yilang’s warm comments, which not only hit the point, but also made people feel comfortable. The shock at the moment made me start to think, “If it were me, how could I do it?” In the process of thinking, I also realized that I cannot make progress on this problem by myself, and I am not the only one who will encounter it. So, I invited Teacher Ichiro to open this class, hoping that lecturers who have the same troubles as me can find a way to start adjusting themselves so that students can have a better learning experience.
Life is a gift from God
At the beginning, Teacher Wang wrote two sentences on the blackboard, “Life is a gift from God to us; life is our response to God.” From the beginning of the class, I felt the energy of the teacher’s life. I really want to follow the following two sentences: “Occurrence is a test given to us by God; treatment is a surprise we give to others.” Although I have a full schedule of work today and am very tired when I get home, I still want to write down my current thoughts and feelings.
The teacher took out a bamboo dragonfly to show us and asked everyone: “Do you think life is like a bamboo dragonfly? After flying, you still need a little more energy and motivation to continue flying next time?”
“True civilization is to take people into consideration.”
“Treat your own people as outsiders, and outsiders as your own people.”
“A real instructor is not telling students how great you are, but letting them know how much you love them (and how willing you are to help them)!”
“The teacher’s mind determines the shape of the students, and the teacher’s vision limits the students’ options.”
“Inheritance is the key to education. Experiences are not passed down unless they become stories. Stories are not remembered unless they are triggered and given meaning.”
The recognition of triggering and meaning are mechanisms that can establish responses. In this course, the teacher started from “walking the talk” and talked about “sensitivity training” and “compassion training”. He also reminded everyone to “control your mouth with compassion” and “speak with integrity”. Finally, I did not forget to share the teacher’s views on his wife, children, and students, as well as “on what happened in life,” “on how he treated life,” and “on life.”
The transformation from motorcycle to compassion
Teacher Wang Yilang has a unique set of opinions on polite but not polite comments. He believes that in addition to providing many tools to enable people to achieve the level of instruments, what is more important is the level of Tao, especially compassion, empathy for people (putting people at ease), and the ability to be sensitive to affairs, so that “polite” but “unkind comments” can be practiced. In this way, you are polite and will not offend others, and can achieve the effect of commenting. It can be said that you are wise, have tools, and gain a lot.
The teacher is indeed a life-threatening bald man (wrongly), telling wonderful stories with his life, so that everyone can understand, and from the teacher’s growth process, he can walk, talk and do it. He also shared the transformation from motorcycles to compassion, and even the teacher’s children immediately testified on the spot, which made us realize that the life-threatening bald man is really risking his life with you! Because a teacher loves and helps students with a compassionate heart. The energy to do what you say is truly powerful!
We always have a lot of reflections on our own lives, just like a teacher who, after receiving sensitivity training, had the first shock to his own life, began to learn to educate others with his life. After listening to the teacher’s class, I also reflected on my life and felt a little ashamed. Many things were not done enough and not enough. I very much hope that I can muster more courage and treat people well.
I am very happy to have this opportunity to take the course of Mr. Wang Yilang (https://www.facebook.com/yilang.ammon?fref=mentions), and I have witnessed the energy of the lecturer who is “no self-centered”. I think that with such a structure and vision, it is no longer just a lecturer, but it is not an exaggeration to call it a life coach. After class, I happily shook hands with the teacher. I was really honored to know this good lecturer who devoted his life to educating and lecturing.
Teacher Wang Yilang added after class:
Commentary skills can be found on the Internet. There is a lot of information and information. I tried to distance myself and avoid falling into a single point of learning. Therefore, I did not write too much about the comment skills. I hope everyone can bear with me.
Last night I personally demonstrated the response with Han Ting’s opening response, which immediately went into a soft folk song as an overture. Regarding the course content, I tried to use responses as the starting point for comments, narrative as the core, consciousness talks as the structure, sharing personal cases as evidence, and small gifts as physical anchors for future review. The above is the overall lesson preparation logic, and I would like to share it with you.
