Once upon a time, our lives were tightly connected by social networks that seamlessly connected virtual and real worlds. Every morning before I get out of bed, I have to turn on my phone to check the latest updates on last night’s Moments. Then when I see my friend’s birthday, I rush to send blessings on his graffiti wall.
On buses and MRTs, the power of the low-down people is also rapidly rising. Everyone spends their spare time surfing the Internet, focusing on various messages on graffiti walls, [fan pages] (https://www.facebook.com/vista.tw) and private communities. Of course, there are also a dizzying array of games and apps that are frantically grabbing everyone’s attention.
Taking myself as an example, there are more than ten private clubs alone, including reading clubs, social clubs, and various work-, study- and interest-based communities. I haven’t used RSS Reader to obtain new information for a long time, but through the information transmission of these societies, I can grasp the latest information in real time.
The development of social networks can be said to be rapid. The public’s imagination of community is no longer just about simple interpersonal interactions, but the power of business has also quietly entered and penetrated. Sean Corcoran, an analyst at Forrester, an American market research company, pointed out, “Facebook not only wants to depict everyone’s online social graph, but also wants to become an important player in everyone’s online life.”
Paul Adams (Paul Adams) is a well-known Internet observer. He is well aware of the dynamics of community development. What’s even better is that he also has a different view of human nature. If you want to know how social networking sites like Facebook are changing our lives? So, I highly recommend everyone to read his new book “[Community Effect: How Small Circles Change the World] (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/exep/prod/booksfile.php?item=0010546871)”.
In these small circles, we may not know each other, but we may also be good partners who help each other. This is the characteristic of community in the six degrees of separation theory.
