I am very happy to have the opportunity to read this book by Japanese best-selling author [Motoyama Katsuhiro] (http://motoyamakatsuhiro.hateblo.jp/) “[Deliberate self-study that turns reading into a “high-return investment”: “Combined academic reading” turns a helpless life, and has ten million dollars and ten pots of gold at the age of 40] (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/pr oducts/0010797461?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201905)”, what’s interesting is that the content of this book is not only consistent with my past learning experience, but also made me feel familiar when I read it, so I finished the whole book very quickly!

I think this is not only because I have been a corporate consultant and lecturer for many years, and I have the opportunity to share and promote various concepts and methods related to the workplace, learning, and life to the public. It also has a lot to do with my years of teaching during the course of encouraging everyone to write more blogs to express their opinions in this community era.

Just like “[Deliberate self-study that turns reading into a “high-return investment”](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010797461?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&ut m_campaign=ap-201905)》author Motoyama Katsuhiro said that learning requires not only the input program to remember knowledge, but also the output program to actually write and speak what you have learned repeatedly, so that you can truly remember what you have learned. And Blogging is a basic tool to expand your personal vision and worldview. The focus is on strengthening your ability to extract experience and transform opinions in the process from input to output.

And this argument also reminds me of what the Japanese potential coach Ikuta Tomohisa wrote in “[Mediocre people copy notes fiercely, talented people diligently write down their experiences: 6 forces that can transform oneself in 24 hours](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010528202?utm _source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201905)” mentioned in the book, “In fact, the most important thing is to use information wisely. Follow the rule of “input 20%, output 80%”, and writing down your experience diligently is the way to go!”

Now, whether I am studying or working, I have already switched from a simple input mode to an output mode. I always take action first. Even if you encounter a big problem, you must break it down into several small tasks. Just as the founder of Software Bank Masayoshi Son taught us, we must turn a goal that no one believes in into a successful business, and never underestimate small successes in anything we do.

Being able to take into account both input and output is naturally the best, and multiple extractions and outputs are naturally better than “only input and no output”. Recently, there happened to be an example to prove it.

I used to worry about my poor English foundation. I was always worried that the English sentences I wrote would have grammatical flaws, or that I couldn’t understand what foreigners were saying. But recently I broke through this myth and began to force myself to listen, speak, write, and read everything. I even communicated directly in English with foreign friends I met on Facebook.

Although I am still worried about my broken English and often get stuck, I feel a little happy when my foreign friend says that she can understand my English. Learning a language is naturally a long road, but now I understand the essentials of learning and the importance of action. In short, don’t be afraid, just listen more, speak more, write more and read more!

This book The author proposes a three-stage discussion of self-study, which is refreshing. I also believe that if you can follow this system and study deliberately, you will definitely gain a lot! If you also want to realize your lifelong dream, I am happy to recommend this good book. Well, let’s learn together the right way!
