Time intersects, fragments of knowledge and memories fall

The starting point of the morning light: a ticket to the south

February is coming to an end, which also kicks off the busy March. On March 26, I will be going to the National Kaohsiung Normal University to give a lecture, sharing with teachers and students how to use AI-driven to write amazing [hot copywriting] (https://vista.im/copywriting-book). So, this morning I went to Taipei Main Station to buy a high-speed rail ticket to Zuoying.

This ticket not only allows me to move to another city, but also marks a new exchange of knowledge and a discussion about trends and innovations.

Over the years, AI technology has developed rapidly, and many companies, universities and colleges have begun to integrate it into business strategies and education systems. Companies want to know how to use AI to become more competitive, and students want to know how to use AI to build their future careers. I gladly accepted such an invitation, not only because I am passionate about it, but also because the value of knowledge lies in its flow rather than being limited to personal understanding.

After buying the ticket, I was about to leave the station. At this moment, I happened to pass by the traveler next to me. Watching them push their luggage and embark on their journey, I turned around and walked towards the morning streets of Taipei. This journey won’t start for a few more weeks, but my thoughts are already racing through my mind.

Beef noodles in memory: the connection between taste and time

Coming out of the station, I walked towards [Lao Wangji Beef Noodles] (https://pekoblog.tw/taoyuanst-beef/) on Taoyuan Street. This street is not long, but it carries the taste bud memories of many old Taipei people. For me, this beef noodle shop is closely connected with my childhood memories.

Opening the door, the aroma of soup hits your nostrils. The seats are still simple and simple, with a few square tables and benches. It seems that time has not left many traces here. However, when my eyes fell on the menu, I was still stunned for a moment.

It turns out that the braised beef noodles have been raised to 240 yuan from New Year’s Day this year. Price changes are like the mark of time, witnessing the ups and downs of the economy and prosperity. But for me, the thing that impressed me more was not the ten-dollar increase, but the memories about my father.

That year, I was still a child, and my father took me into this store. While flipping through the newspaper, he said to me: “The soup here is very pure.” At that time, I didn’t know what “purity” was. I only knew that the beef was soft and tender, the noodles were full of chewy texture, and this bowl of noodles tasted delicious… But now, when this sentence came to my mind again, I realized: purity is not just the taste of the soup, but also an unadorned and sincere feeling.

Now, as I sit here alone and take a sip of soup, whether it tastes the same as I remember is no longer so important. This bowl of noodles has become an invisible thread, connecting the past and present, thoughts and reality.

Afternoon Dialogue: The intersection of AI technology and education

After lunch, I went to the Beijing Railway Station and met with Dr. [Lin Lijie] (http://vip.asia-learning.com/ai/teacher/teacherintro/5813), chairman of the [Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association] (https://taiago.com). This conversation kicked off from the demand for AI talents, talked about the transformation of the education system, and then talked about the application of technology in enterprises to theoretical research in academia. As the topics intersect, I increasingly feel that the logic of knowledge is changing rapidly.

“Can our education model really keep up with the development of AI?” I thought to myself, this is a question worth pondering. The traditional education model is often based on long-term accumulation, but the progress of AI is exponential. Does this mean that by the time students graduate, will the technology they learn become obsolete?

“We can’t just teach technology, but teach students how to adapt to changes,” I said.

There is no absolute answer to this conversation, but it makes me more determined that knowledge is not just imparted, but gives learners the ability to adapt. This may also be the direction I will work hard in the future - making knowledge a real weapon, rather than a theory that can only be displayed on the bookshelf.

An encounter at Eslite Bookstore: the intersection of writing and marketing

In the evening, the streets of Taipei began to glow with an orange light. I strolled into Eslite Bookstore and glanced at the bookshelves casually, but stopped in the new books section on marketing. A young man was flipping through a book on marketing copywriting, and the cover of the book had my recommendation printed on it.

I smiled slightly and couldn’t help walking forward: “This book is good, and the cases in it are very practical.”

The other person raised his head with a surprised expression: “Have you read this book?”

“Not only have I read it, I also recommend it.” I answered with a smile.

This chance conversation became an exchange of knowledge. I shared my practical experience with this reader, talked about how to really touch people’s hearts through text, and also talked about how AI affects content creation. This short conversation convinced me again: the transmission of knowledge may not require a stage or a microphone. It may exist in a corner of a bookstore, or it may be hidden in a good book that is being read.

Knowledge and memories meet in the flow

This day is like a puzzle of time, each fragment intertwined with the past and the future - from a ticket to Kaohsiung, to a bowl of longing beef noodles; from a conversation about the future of AI education, to a chance encounter in a bookstore.

Time always moves forward silently, but those precious moments, whether it is the spark of knowledge or the warm feelings in memory, are all on this road, guiding us in the direction.

And this journey is still continuing.
