Speaking of hacker, what do you think of? Is he the villain who hides behind the scenes but does all kinds of bad things? Or is he a master who steals information secrets based on his good skills?

In fact, you can start by clearing your mind of negative thoughts about hackers. It is even recommended that you think of hacking thinking as using smart methods to do certain things.

Today, I would like to recommend to you a new book “[Hacker Thinking: Catching out the irrationalities in life and optimizing your life]” that will be released in Taiwan on July 1 (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/pro ducts/0010894698?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202106)》.

The author of this book is Joseph Jr. Joseph M. Reagle Jr. is an associate professor of communication at Northeastern University. He was a researcher at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and an early member of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at MIT. He has long focused on issues such as digital technology, culture, and online communities. In addition, he was selected as one of the “World’s Best Innovators Under 35” by MIT Technology Review.

Many people change their minds when they hear the word “hack” and mistakenly believe that the hacker spirit is to cause destruction and seek improper benefits. In fact, hacker thinking is a required course for us modern people, and it is also the way to improve and optimize ourselves.

Well, I also like what Wanwei Steel said:

The key thing that distinguishes life hackers from ordinary problem solvers is that what they really care about is not whether it is useful, but the sense of control over their personal lives. They are like the Taoist priests in the novels about cultivating immortals. They are always examining themselves, setting a strict system of principles and disciplines for themselves, and they want to achieve self-improvement by executing this system.

Therefore, many years ago, I embarked on the journey of life hacking. For example, by putting on my Apple Watch every morning and counting the steps I take throughout the day, I begin to use data to quantify my physical and mental health status, and I can also feel a more authentic self.

Also because I run the “I Love Writing Notes” community, I usually like to write notes and simple diaries, and think about ways to improve myself through daily review. In addition, I also love to dismantle complex things in life and record all kinds of soaring thoughts, so as to find solutions that can be improved.

I really like the author’s “[Hacker Thinking: Catching out the irrationalities in life and optimizing your life]” (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010894698?utm_sou rce=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202106)》We welcome everyone to join the ranks of life hackers!
