I have heard from [Bernard, the founder of ALPHA Camp Chan] (https://www.facebook.com/bernard.chan.90) mentioned that the company decided to develop a new type of [online course] (https://tw.alphacamp.co/online-web-bootcamp/) based on the previous development of [New Business Practical Camp] (https://www.bnext.com.tw/article/33732/BN-ARTICLE-33732). After several months of preparations, ALPHA Camp announced that it will join hands with MOOC to officially launch the “Grand Channel Project” at noon on July 5, with the starting point of cultivating “cross-field talents to become full-end network development engineers” and hopes to help more outstanding young people in Taiwan establish their international stage.

The “Grand Channel Project” is currently raising funds on the [Bao Friend] (https://uccu.cool3c.com/projects/610) platform under Addiction Technology, which mainly uses “full-end engineers”, “English courses” and “foreign job matching” as its main elements. As of 7 a.m. on July 7, the amount of funds raised has reached NT$730,000, with an achievement rate of 73.08%. It is expected that the original goal of NT$1 million will be exceeded soon. (Editor’s note: The fund-raising project has entered its third day and has successfully reached the target!)

ALPHA Camp is the only startup talent school in Taiwan across Southeast Asia. It is dedicated to cultivating talents with innovative thinking and professional skills as its founding purpose. It also actively establishes a network of connections between the startup community and the industry, hoping to help talents find a stage to perform, and also help the industry and startup teams find talents.

Your vision, what you do and who you hang out with will determine how successful you are.

In the past four years, ALPHA Camp has cultivated many talents for Taiwan’s startup scene. In recent years, it has begun to expand its business focus to Hong Kong and Singapore. The founder [Bernard Chan] (https://www.facebook.com/bernard.chan.90) talked about the current situation of ALPHA Camp. Based on the many opportunities to cooperate with international companies in Singapore and the cooperative relationship with the Singapore government, ALPHA Camp has been officially registered as a private school (educational institution), so it will retain the physical classes.

As for Taiwan, because we have laid a good foundation in the past and accumulated a group of outstanding alumni, we hope to do some bolder experiments here. Based on ALPHA Camp’s past experience in running schools, Bernard believes that the most effective teaching model is to integrate online and offline learning methods; therefore, in the short term, he will focus on online first and plans to achieve a complete implementation of the teaching experience of the content and platform.

In view of the fact that there are so many things that one must know to start a business, and the global market is changing too fast, ALPHA Camp has been inspired to invest in the online learning market, and launched the “Grand Passage Project” in the hope of helping more young people in Taiwan go global. Bernard Chan revealed that they are developing their own learning platform and hope to provide more high-quality teaching, tutoring and nurturing services in the future.

Finally, when talking about the development of ALPHA Camp in Taiwan, he said that there are currently four employees responsible for promoting business in Taiwan. At the same time, the company is also looking for talents who understand content, hoping to accelerate the cultivation of new innovative talents.

Bernard believes that Taiwan has many talents who understand content, and many of them are passionate about education. Perhaps because everyone sees that education is an important part of solving current social problems, he also hopes that more people can join in!
