Collaborate with AI to write an exciting article full of useful information!
In response to the great Teacher Bai Xiong’s report on [2025 Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Annual Conference], I also contributed an article, so I asked Teacher Bai Xiong, what kind of article do you want to read more? The great teacher Bai Xiong gave two key points:
- Avoid AI illusions
- I don’t want to have such a heavy AI plastic feel when it comes to writing, drawings or movies.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the results and then talk about how it was made:
1. Sample article: “Desert Rose and Her Exotic Circle of Friends”
A song blowing from the desert
In 2000, you may have heard that charming song - “Desert Rose” by Sting - in a Jaguar car commercial. The British gentleman met the Algerian singer Cheb Mami, crooning in English and singing in Arabic. As a result, the two did not agree on the lyrics at all, but miraculously sang the same “love and longing”. Music is what it is, it doesn’t need translation.
“Desert Rose” became an unexpected hit. It not only sold cars and albums, but also pushed Arab pop music into the Western mainstream. This song is like a ticket to a foreign land, allowing the listener to instantly travel to the desert night.
List of exotic friends
If “Desert Rose” was a party, then her circle of friends would be absolutely wonderful:
- Shakira “Ojos Así”: The Latin goddess is of Lebanese descent, mixing Spanish and Arabic chants on the dance floor, sexy and mysterious.
- The Chemical Brothers “Galvanize”: Moroccan string sampling + electronic dance music, like you were dragged to a hip-hop dance by the DJ at the Marrakesh night market.
- Amr Diab “Habibi Ya Nour El Ain”: A divine song in the Arab world, as sweet as drinking mint tea in the Mediterranean while someone plays the guitar for you.
- The Clash “Rock the Casbah”: A ridiculous story about a punk band mocking “no rock and roll” and ended up rocking more than anyone else.
- Hakim & Don Omar “TIJI TIJI”: Arabic meets Spanish, dabka drums meet reggaeton bass, dancefloor diplomacy is instantly successful.
- Led Zeppelin “Kashmir”: A rock epic inspired by a Moroccan road trip that sounds like it’s going to take you on an adventure across the desert.
- Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Massive Attack “Mustt Mustt”: Sufi prayer song mixed with electronic bass, a perfect combination of spirituality and psychedelia.
Music has no borders, only rhythm
These works prove that music understands “speed dating” better than dating software. It can bring voices from different cultures onto the same dance floor, allowing them to fall in love, hold parties, engage in satire, and so on.
Sting’s “Desert Rose” is not an isolated case, but a signal: when Western pop meets Eastern mystery, the result is often more romantic and cooler than imagined.
So next time, don’t just browse the chart singles, be brave enough to click on a song in a language you don’t understand. Who knows? Maybe the next “desert rose” that makes your heart beat will be in an exotic melody.
2. How do we meet the requirements of the (great) White Bear teacher?
Mr. Bai Xiong’s first requirement is to avoid AI illusion, so you can’t just ask AI to write an article directly. Instead, you must use the Deep Research function. Simply put, it means searching and summarizing according to your requirements. Perplexity, which Jen-Hsun Huang loves, became a dark horse because of this feature, but now the free version of the two major AI chatbots ChatGPT and Gemini supports this feature. I personally feel that Gemini collects the most detailed information, so in this article, we will use ChatGPT and Gemini cross-wise to complete a music report.
Let’s simulate a situation where you suddenly hear a song you like and then write a report based on it. So the first step was to ask ChatGPT about the features of the song as a basis for subsequent research.
Prompt word: I have recently become obsessed with the song “Desert Rose” by Sting. I like the atmosphere and characteristics of this song very much. Please introduce the characteristics of this song.
We can call this step “defining categories”. In this example, we have sorted out the features of Sting’s “Desert Rose” so that we can search and summarize them with ChatGPT’s in-depth research.
Then, click the plus button to the left of “Ask Any Question” to open the advanced features menu, and click “Drill Down.”
One thing to note is that there is a monthly limit for delving deeper into either the free/paid version of ChatGPT or Gemini, so be sure to save your money. After confirming that drill-down research is enabled, you can let ChatGPT get on with its work.
Prompt word: Okay, please study in detail the music style, atmosphere, influence and cultural significance of the song “Desert Rose” by Sting, and give me a detailed introduction.
ChatGPT’s in-depth research usually confirms some details with you. After you fill in these details, it will start research, which usually takes about 5 minutes. You can leave it alone for now.
Prompt word: 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes
Plus, no specific generation or language preference

The research will result in an article that we just expanded from Sting’s “Desert Rose” to similar songs.
If you are really satisfied with the research results, you can summarize them into a new article. However, Gemini’s Deep Research usually has more detailed results, so I would recommend exporting ChatGPT’s research results into a Word file and then handing it over to Gemini for further additions.
Click the Export button in the upper right corner of the article block (which is officially called “Canvas”) and you will see a menu to download the article PDF or Word file.
We exported the research results of ChatGPT into a Word file and uploaded it to Gemini, and added some information to it. For example, we just forgot to include Sting’s “Desert Rose” in the playlist, and verified whether ChatGPT’s research results are true. Finally, we added some more detailed guidelines on collecting content.
To open Gemini, we need to click Deep Research under its dialog box to enable in-depth research. Again, there is a monthly limit for delving deeper into either ChatGPT or Gemini’s free/paid versions! Save yourself!
And click the plus button on the far left of the menu at the bottom of the dialog box to open the advanced menu. Use the “Upload File” function to upload a Word file of ChatGPT’s research results to Gemini.
Then enter the prompt to let Gemini continue working.
Prompt word: I have recently become obsessed with the song “Desert Rose” by Sting and have prepared references for similar songs. Please refer to the song introductions of the uploaded files to confirm that the content of these introductions is correct for me, and look for more similar songs. Also include the song “Desert Rose” by Sting into the introduced song list, and supplement the introductions or anecdotes of these songs so that I can complete a rich and charming report.
The great thing about Gemini’s Deep Research is that it tells you what the research project is about, so you can double-check that its research goals are what you expected.

If there are no questions, just click “Start Research”. Gemini’s Deep Research sometimes takes more than ten minutes, or even more than half an hour. So, I suggest you don’t wait for it, you will fall asleep in front of the computer, so why not go to bed and get some sleep first.
Gemini will even let you see the research process, that is, how it reaches the level of knowledge saturation it deems through repeated searches and collections.
When Gemini’s Deep Research study is completed, you will also get an article. According to my experience, the length is usually twice that of ChatGPT Deep Research, so you know why I recommend Gemini’s Deep Research. But it has a small flaw. It cannot directly export Word files, and directly copying the content will run to the point of crashing, so I recommend exporting to Google Docs.
Then we go to Google Docs and save it as a Word file.
Gemini’s Deep Research is awesome, but the style of articles it generates is not as flexible as ChatGPT, so we went back to ChatGPT.
Open the advanced menu of ChatGPT, click the “Add Photos and Files” function, and upload the Word files of articles generated by ChatGPT and the Word files of Gemini research results. Because the entire process is based on information collected through Deep Research, the chance of hallucination is very low.
Next, I specified what style of music introduction article I wanted to write and the context of the article.
Prompt word: Please refer to the two documents I provided and write a report about exploring contemporary cross-cultural music for the general public who are not music fans. From a relaxed, humorous and interesting perspective, start with Sting’s “Desert Rose”, introduce its charm and characteristics, and then extend to the introduction of other similar songs.

The article generated by ChatGPT for the first time is actually ready for use, but it recommended that I generate another “magazine column” version to have a look. I usually agree that it would be better to generate several more versions for comparison.
The “magazine column” version produced at this step is the sample article at the beginning of this article.
Next, we tried to let ChatGPT generate images directly based on the article content. If no visual elements are specified, it usually combines the article elements directly into a picture, lacking character and atmosphere, just like the example below.
Prompt word: Help me design a 16:9 ratio image for this article
Therefore, we can discuss with ChatGPT how we can design the visual elements of accompanying images.
Prompt word: Do you think the accompanying picture of this report is not about singers, but about exotic customs? How should we design this accompanying picture?
If you are satisfied with it, use the description provided by ChatGPT as a prompt to generate the image.
Prompt word: Design a 16:9 ratio picture based on the blending of desert and city.
Key visual: The desert sand stretches to the horizon, but skyscrapers, neon lights or music festival stages gradually appear in the distance. Detailed elements: Arabian lutes (Oud), Spanish guitars, and DJ turntables are placed on the dunes, like an “instrument archaeological site.” Atmosphere: The collision of ancient and modern, showing the cross-cultural tension of music.
Because Sting’s “Desert Rose” has elements of electronic music, I wanted to change the atmosphere of the accompanying image to an electronic psychedelic one.
Prompt word: Please retain the main visual and detailed elements, change the atmosphere to a technological and electronic music style, and design a 16:9 ratio image

In the end, I thought it would be better to present it with realistic photos, so I completed the illustrations for this article.

](3. Conclusion: Only by cooperating with AI, not leaving everything to AI, can you have your own style.
In this example, we saw how to extend a song into enough songs to last you an afternoon and generate articles about those songs. At the same time, we have also seen through the process of generating accompanying images that if you do not include your personal preferences in the generated prompts, the results will usually not be very good.
Therefore, I emphasize that AI changes the human learning model, allowing us to quickly grasp the context of information, and then we humans use our own sensibility to these contexts to guide the content generated by AI.
