- What is the correct concept of slash? What are the characteristics of the slash generation?
slash itself has no limitations of age, gender and occupation. It can even break the limitations of the frame and present a more diverse appearance of a person. The identities after each slash can be related to each other, or they can have nothing to do with each other, or even Tone! Therefore, a person can combine multiple identities such as engineer, marathon runner, writer, etc., and these identities all represent the person at the same time, but reflect different aspects of himself.
In a modern world where the workplace is undergoing more and more changes, with the collapse of lifetime employment, the impact of automation, and the increasing popularity of corporate outsourcing, many workplace workers have discovered that the modern nine-to-five working career is not the only way to reflect their self-worth! - From your point of view, what is the point of the slash? What is the difference between it and a part-time job?
Slash does not start from the perspective of “what can you do to make money?” Slash is the career result of a combination of multiple professional advantages accumulated from one’s own experience. Therefore, every time you are qualified for an identity, it means that you have the expertise required for this role. As for part-time work, you simply use your own disposable time to create additional income.
This means that you can’t just print a few slashes on your business card and get things done! Behind it is that a person must have higher expectations for himself, a spirit of autonomy and self-discipline, and be professionally responsible for each of his identities. The key is to focus on the major. If the major is insufficient, no matter how much work you have, it will only be considered a part-time job.
- Do you think everyone needs to embark on the slash path? Any suggestions?
If focusing on one path can make you feel happy and satisfied, then you really don’t need to consider becoming a slasher. Because slashing is a career development strategy and a display of life values, not everyone should take the slashing path.
Not everyone needs to be a slash youth, but when a person finds something that he truly loves, and at the same time invests time and effort for a long time to cultivate his favorite interest into a major, he will naturally be able to practice his wishes and interests in a slash way. In this way, not only can you enrich your life, but you can also create multiple incomes for yourself, and you can also have enthusiasm, expectations and recognition for your slash identity.
- Regarding “Slash Today”, what is a message you want to give everyone?
Walking on the road of life, if you forget the original intention and purpose, no matter how good the means are, you will not be able to truly feel happiness! Therefore, slash is a way to help you achieve a rich life experience, rather than choosing slash just for the sake of pursuing slash.

- What does the slash mean to you?
For me, slash is the state of using different presentation methods to present one’s core capabilities in different scenarios.
- Do you encourage everyone to take the slash path?
I highly recommend everyone to give it a try before you don’t know what to do! When you are very good at your own business, it is even more important to expand outward.
- How do you wear multiple hats as a mother, a company founder, and the operations director of a book fan alliance? Can you share some of your time management skills or other ways to improve efficiency?
Accept the role of multiple identities (from the heart), accept that there is only so much time, and wherever you spend your time, your achievements will be there! Whether it is short-term goal sprint or long-term planning and design, allocate time and activate the elder backup mechanism. If you can’t do it, don’t force it! Giving up now doesn’t mean there won’t be opportunities in the future. Whatever you decide to do, go all out and don’t be half-hearted.

- When did you start slashing? Is there any motivation to trigger it?
Since I was a child, I have had the understanding that “the more functions you have, the less you will starve to death.” I have always believed that everyone has many different functions, and we can find a stage for them to be seen and bring income to ourselves. The main turning point was the experience of working in the online advertising industry, which made me discover that “generalists” and “generalists” are actually the key to the future.
- Do you think there are some similarities between slash and entrepreneurship? What is the difference between part-time job and side business?
Part-time work and side hustle are more like working part-time after get off work or other time in order to increase income, exchanging time and ability for money. Slash and entrepreneurship must have more ideas of their own, and they must be interested and passionate in what they do, and they must be able to accumulate and stack with each other.
- If you want to become a slash youth, what should you pay attention to?
The first is self-awareness. It is important to understand where your talents and functions are, and whether you can rely on these abilities to support yourself. Secondly, it is continuous stacking and accumulation. In addition to accumulating ability/energy, it also accumulates personal brand. The third is stress resistance. Whether you are a freelancer or an entrepreneur, you usually have to face a lot of pressure. Stress resistance and flexibility in facing unexpected situations are very important.
- What is IP (Intellectual Property)? How do you define successful personal IP?
The book says IP is “intellectual property ownership”, but I think IP actually refers to people who have abilities, ideas and influence.
