Have you heard how successful leaders lead hearts, and know that the reason why these leaders are successful is because of certain “characteristics” they possess, not because of “what they do”? The reason is that successful leaders are good at using “[Ask first, why?” The “Golden Circle” theory advocated by Simon Sinek, the author of “Simon Sinek”.

The concept of Golden Circle is very simple. From the inside to the outside, it is why (Why) > how to do (How) > what to do (What).

“Why” is actually equivalent to what Chinese people often call “belief”. If you don’t follow the context of “belief” when thinking and doing something, the final result will probably be bad.

Or when “what to do” is confused with “why”, it can easily lead to failure. For example: I started a business with the purpose of making a lot of money, but making money is the result of the event (what). If I mistake it for the “why”, the entrepreneur may deviate in direction and fail due to any increase in making money.

In “Ask first, why?” ” In the book, the author uses very easy-to-understand text descriptions and uses actual cases (such as why Apple computers are attractive?) to illustrate. It is very easy to read and is one of the reasons why it has become a recommended introductory book for leaders. The author constantly dialogues with readers and repeatedly reminds us to think over and over and objectively describe events from various perspectives. Through this interaction, two-way communication with readers is achieved, as if Simon Sinek is standing in front of you and discussing with you. This is the second reason for recommending this book.

In addition, interested friends do not need to worry that this is a “code of instruction” that teaches you how to become a successful leader step by step. If you don’t follow it, you will fail. Because leadership itself is actually a trait that can be cultivated by repeatedly thinking about one’s core values. This book will “enlighten” you to have “the thinking power of a leader”, which is fascinating just thinking about it.

After reading “Ask first, why?” ”, I found that this is a good book that can be read with a relaxed mood, and I can get inspiration from each chapter.

I sincerely recommend it to everyone. Finally, I also attached an online video so that everyone can quickly understand the concept of the Golden Circle.
