From the flow of knowledge to the accumulation of life
AI is not just a tool, but the future of enterprise competitiveness
Today begins with a thoughtful gathering. This meeting was an invitation from a business owner, and the theme revolved around How AI can be truly applied. At ten o’clock in the morning, we met at Sky Cofi. He invited me to give a speech to a group of successful entrepreneurs in April. The topic was how to apply AI tools to business decision-making and productivity improvement.
This conversation made me deeply feel that the role of AI in the corporate world is changing - it is no longer a distant technology, but an indispensable tool for corporate operations. This entrepreneur and his partners are no longer just interested in AI, but are actively looking for ways to implement it. He asked: “How do we distinguish which jobs are suitable for AI? Which ones still need people to do it?”
This question reminds me of the “Business Insider” [report] (https://copywriting.vista.tw/grace-and-strength/) I read a few days ago, in which AI executives from four major international consulting firms (EY, KPMG, McKinsey, PwC) were interviewed to discuss the application of AI in daily business. Among them, McKinsey’s Rodney Zemmel mentioned: “The real value of AI does not lie in replacing people, but in allowing us to hand over 80% of mechanical work to AI and focus on 20% of high-value creative decisions.”
This passage made me think that we need a new thinking model in business management: AI does not replace people, but helps people make decisions more efficiently. In the future, the true competitiveness of enterprises will not lie in the technology itself, but in who can truly understand AI and find a collaboration model that suits them.
This meeting made me more convinced that I will delve deeper into this field this year - helping business owners and workplace professionals master AI tools so that they are not just “spectators” of technology, but real “drivers.”
Health is the cornerstone of all efforts
If AI is the key to future competitiveness, then health is the cornerstone that supports everything.
The thing that relieved me the most today was that my mother’s follow-up visit went well. Her post-operative recovery was stable and doctors gave a positive assessment. In the past few days, I have been taking care of her diet and daily routine. What a sick person needs, in addition to medicine and treatment, is also the care and companionship of her family.
This reminds me of one thing - we are always pursuing achievements and breakthroughs, but when there is a problem with the body, these efforts become insignificant in an instant. Careers can be developed and academics can be deepened, but without health, everything is meaningless.
As for myself, there is also a happy development today - after falling and getting injured, I was finally able to resume ultra jogging!
It was during my injury that I truly realized the “preciousness of freedom of movement.” When we get used to daily actions such as walking and running, we often don’t realize their importance. It’s not until we get injured one day that we discover that mobility is actually one of the most basic blessings in life.
This made me appreciate this recovery period even more and reminded myself that health is not just about “recovery” but management that requires long-term maintenance. Exercise, diet and daily routine, these seemingly insignificant habits determine how far and for how long we can go.
Academic and publishing: two parallel paths, the accumulation and flow of knowledge
In the afternoon, I chatted with two doctoral class seniors and found that time flies by, the start of school is approaching, and the pressure of the doctoral qualification examination is gradually emerging. My own qualifying exam is scheduled for May, but the progress of my thesis still hasn’t made much progress. This made me a little anxious, and I even thought at one point: “Is this paper really worth continuing to write?”
But another thing made me regain my passion for research - the [new book] (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0011014433?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202502), which will be published in February, can already be found on the blog!
You can create a personal brand and monetize it without knowing how to program: quickly create your digital assistant, set up a checkout system, and simultaneously promote your brand through multiple channels
Seeing that my work is about to be officially released, it made me realize that although academia and publishing are two different paths, their core is the same - they are both processes that allow knowledge to flow and create influence.
Academic research explores the unknown through rigorous methods; writing, on the other hand, transforms these thoughts into words so that more people can understand and apply them. The goal of both is to make knowledge not just on paper, but to truly change the world.
This reminded me that the value of a thesis is not in the degree itself, but in the impact it can bring. As long as knowledge can still create value, then this path is worth continuing.
The value of knowledge lies not in possession, but in its flow. When we are willing to share knowledge, it can truly have an impact.
Inspiration from the Fish Card: The Flow of Wealth, Energy and Relationships
Today, I drew a tarot card - the fish card.
Fish represents the flow of wealth, but this is not just the concept of money, but also the free flow of energy, relationships and opportunities. This made me realize that real wealth is not static, but generates value in a continuous flow.
The flow of money comes from value creation; the flow of knowledge comes from learning and sharing; the flow of relationships comes from sincere communication and support. This card reminds me that when we are willing to let resources flow, it can truly bring us more possibilities.
This is also my goal this year - not just to accumulate, but to let knowledge, wealth and influence flow to create greater value.
Let knowledge, wealth and energy flow freely to welcome a new future
Looking at everything that happened today: from the opportunity of AI lectures to my mother’s health check-up; from the pressure of the doctoral class to the release of a new book; from learning to action to the revelation of the fish card; all of this reminds me that the most important thing in life is not to stand still, but to keep knowledge, relationships, energy and wealth flowing.
What is truly valuable is not stagnation, but flow.
When we are willing to learn, act, and share, these resources are no longer static, but a driving force that can create more value.
Knowledge is flowing, opportunities are flowing, life is flowing, and my choice is to make all these have the greatest impact and welcome a broader future. Let every tomorrow be more valuable than today!
