Yesterday (September 6), I was honored to be invited by the Youth Career Development Center of Gaoping-Pengdong Branch of the Ministry of Labor Workforce Development Agency and the [One Book, One Viewpoint Reading Club] (https://www.facebook.com/groups/572287569629000) hosted by Ms. : Use this picture to explore the path you want to take in the future](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010756794?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201709)” The experience of this book.

I am very happy to see the long-awaited “[A person’s profit model: use this picture to explore the path you want to take in the future](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/00107567 94?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201709)》Traditional Chinese version, finally published recently! In fact, this book attracted the attention of the world as soon as it was released. I also bought the original book and read it at home, but it took several years before the Traditional Chinese version finally came out.

This time, in order to share my reading experience with everyone, I specially found the original book from the bookcase, took some time to read it again, and found it very rewarding. To put it simply, “[A person’s profit model: Use this picture to explore the path you want to take in the future](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010756794?utm_sourc e=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201709)” quoted from “[Profit Generation: Do it yourself, draw your business model](https:/ Business Model Blueprint(The Business Model Canvas), used in personal career planning.

Let me start by talking about another book I recently read, “The Self-Building Bible: Building a Personalized “One-Man Business"" (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010755683? utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201709)》, use the nine-square grid model mentioned by the author Sato Den to conceive your own Cash Point. I also gave an [example] from a lecturer friend (https://www.fuelup.today/2017/07/taking-inventory-of-yourself.html) to encourage everyone to think of their own ways to develop financial resources.

Next, let’s get to the point and explain the nine elements of [Business Model Blueprint] (https://strategyzer.com/canvas/business-model-canvas) one by one. Since many people confuse “key activities” with “value proposition,” I took some time to explain it to you - the book also gives an example. For a doctor, his value proposition is not to guide graduate students to write papers, but how to get this paper published in a premier academic journal.

For me, it’s not about filling in these nine boxes and then everything is fine, but about using this framework to take inventory of my own resources and examine myself from a more objective perspective. Therefore, in last night’s speech, I also encouraged the guests not only to fill in this form, but also to review and revise this scale from time to time. Although this framework is very informative, we must know how to use it flexibly.

If you have friends who have taken my copywriting class, you may be familiar with the picture above. This picture is not only suitable for copywriting, but it is also very suitable for examining profit-making elements. Before planning your own profit model, you might as well think calmly: Who are my main customer groups? And what do I want to achieve? What do you want to sell? Whether it is a product or service, is there anything unique about it? Can it be differentiated from other competing products?

A value proposition is a promise of value to be delivered, communicated, and acknowledged. It is also a belief from the customer about how value (benefit) will be delivered, experienced and acquired.

In a nutshell, we need to create value for target customers through “Value Proposition”. Ask yourself, what is your value proposition? Are there any unique features? These questions are worthy of our deep thought.

The purpose of setting “Value Proposition” is not just to improve user experience, but also to examine or analyze the changes, gains and losses between costs, benefits and customer value for individuals or companies.

I also saw the value of creating a unique value proposition from another sharer yesterday, Miss Zhou Qunying (https://www.facebook.com/journey2self). She graduated from the Department of Political Science of National Taiwan University and the Institute of Sociology of National Tsinghua University. She is currently a part-time translator. She has translated “The Day I Let Go and Love Myself”, “The Miracle Course of Love”, “Zhuoer, Thank You for Ruining My Life”, and “Subtraction of New Management: Six Simple Rules to Find What Management Should Do!” ” and books such as “More Abundant: A Course in Miracles of Work and Wealth”.

As a translator, she often needs to search for information online due to her work. However, because some professional books cover very specific fields, she often needs to invest a lot of time and effort in searching for proper nouns, which greatly lengthens her working hours. With a background in user experience design, she had a sudden idea one day and began to think about whether there could be a platform that could help translators complete both query and translation tasks in a single window interface.

So, she discussed this idea with her husband, who is an engineer, and the two quickly reached a consensus and decided to cooperate to build this system platform, and this is the origin of Termsoup.

“Termsoup” provides one-stop solution for translation manuscripts. In the same editing screen, you can compare the original text and the translation, view knowledge materials, query special translations, and quickly insert translations without changing pages or tools. It is the most comfortable interface for translators.

Termsoup not only solved the problems and troubles Zhou Qunying encountered during the translation process, but also helped many translators to perform translation work more efficiently. In my opinion, this is an excellent case for creating a unique value proposition.

In this era of “national entrepreneurship”, everyone has the dream of changing the world or pursuing financial freedom. I encourage everyone to pursue their dreams, but in the process of pursuing profits, please remember to create a unique [value proposition] (https://vista.tw/archives/2015/08/15/2277).
