Briefing Design Challenges

Readers who often read articles on the “Content Hacker” website must be familiar with Mr. Liu Yiyou. Not only because we often repost Mr. Liu’s articles, but also because his views have repeatedly subverted tradition and brought new perspectives to everyone. It is no exaggeration to say that every time I read, I will gain something.

In fact, everyone is familiar with the matter of design briefing - whether you like Takahashi style, Apple style, or TED style, you can probably understand: every briefing proposal is actually like a journey.

As you embark on the hero’s journey, you must not only use slides to show your professional value, but also a persuasive process full of urgency and multiple tests during the briefing process of just a few dozen minutes.

It is true that everyone loves presentations with pictures and texts, but the focus is often not just on visual beauty, but how to convey value? What’s more, it’s best to impress your boss and colleagues before starting the presentation.

People who make presentations need to have a kind of DNA built into them, which is systematic thinking that reduces complexity to simplicity.

The key to learning presentations

Many people want to learn presentations, which can be seen from the numerous presentation design courses available. Some people want to learn design skills, while others want to understand how to impress people? In fact, we have never lacked reference information about presentations. Just like at the “Content Hacker Lecture” that just concluded last night, Mr. Shirokuma also recommended several books related to presentations.

But you also know─it would be much easier if you could do it by reading a book yourself! How to master the key points of briefing design and communication, and then make the key “that” slide, is the real key. If you can have a good master to guide you in getting started, and supplement it with a lot of practical exercises, I believe everything will be much simpler!

People often ask me, how many words are enough for product copy, blog posts or press releases? In fact, the focus of writing is never numbers, but opinions, heritage and core values. Likewise, we should also abandon the “more is better” logic of presentation design.

Course Recommendations

I have always believed in the principle of “Less is more”, and I am very happy to see that Teacher Liu Yiyou is willing to share his many years of work experience and offer this “Systematic Thinking to Simplify Complexity” course for professionals.

This class is to teach you how to use the four modes of visual communication: words/images/charts/diagrams to simplify the complex? To what extent should the amount of information be retained so that it is not too little to understand and too much to read? The key is to find the “sweet spot” where complexity becomes simplicity. When you retain the amount of information to an optimal level and then present it appropriately through visualization, you can achieve the best understanding effect, and this point is the so-called sweet spot.

Courses like this are not available every day. I hope that friends who are interested and in need can hurry up and register!

Good courses need everyone’s support to continue to be offered and become classics. If you sign up for Teacher Liu’s course, as long as you send your purchase receipt (you can capture a picture or copy the content of the purchase letter) [to Vista] (mailto:iamvista@gmail.com) before April 28, we will give you the essence of the “Visual Content Marketing” briefing shared by Teacher Bai Xiong in the sixth content hacking lecture!

In addition, I have also provided three more places for the lottery, and the lucky winners will be able to attend the “Ouchi Master: [Write good bids and sell without selling] (https://www.accupass.com/event/1804041321359643076770)” lecture in May for free!
