Cherish the moment and embrace interpersonal connections
Feel the preciousness of health in the hospital
Today’s morning started in the hospital. When you walk into the hospital lobby, you will see a crowd of people, a winding queue to get medicine, and medical staff busy shuttling between wards and clinics. Such a scene made me think deeply again - health is always the most precious wealth. In the past few years, people around me have experienced many health changes, and the recent news that Big S passed away from illness has made people even more alert to the fragility of life. When I think back to my experience of being taken to an ambulance due to a fall a few years ago, the sudden feeling of helplessness is still vivid in my mind. At that moment, I truly realized that when we have health, we often don’t realize how valuable it is. However, when health is threatened, we realize that it is the cornerstone of life.
Standing in the corridor of the hospital, watching the patients and their families coming and going, I felt grateful in my heart - thank you to these medical staff who have been working silently, they are an important pillar of this society. This respect reminds me that in busy days, I must also remember to pay attention to my physical condition, and don’t wait until my health turns red before regretting it. After all, without health, nothing else matters.
Reunion with old friends after a long separation
After leaving the hospital, there was a pleasant reunion in the afternoon. An old friend who had not seen each other for more than ten years finally reunited on this day. When she saw me, she said, “I’ve lost weight!”
We were originally partners of the same BNI branch, but as time went by, I withdrew from the membership at the beginning of this year, and although she went to Shanghai to develop, she did not forget her connection with the Taiwan market. Time flies, and now my old friend has made a name for himself in the consulting field. Meeting again and sharing the growth and changes over the years was very emotional. This made me deeply realize that people cannot be isolated from the world. The power of community can often become an important driving force for the development of life.
We chatted about each other’s current situation and discussed how to remain competitive and grow in this rapidly changing era. We all believe that whether in career or personal growth, we need the support of the community to make ourselves stand firmer and go further. She is doing a great job as a consultant in Shanghai, while I am exploring new possibilities in different fields. This long-lost exchange has also given me more inspiration for future development.
New attempts and small blessings at work
On this day, in addition to emotional gains, there was also a lot of progress at work. I delayed my meal due to busyness at noon. When I was worried that there was no place to find food, I happened to find a Grand Hyatt Pork Ribs restaurant on Qingcheng Street. I quickly went in to order, and a few minutes later I saw the hot pork rib rice on the table, feeling a sense of satisfaction in my heart. Such small blessings remind me that while pursuing my goals, I should not forget to enjoy the simple beauty in life.
In the afternoon, I seized the time and published an article “Vista Electronic Newspaper”. This is a platform for communication with readers and an important way for me to organize my thoughts and share my opinions. Every time I send a report, I am accumulating knowledge and experience. I hope that more friends can understand my thoughts and communicate with me.
In addition, I also spent some time today planning two new services and decided to adopt the MVP (minimum viable product) approach for testing. I have always believed that in this era of rapid change, the best strategy is to act quickly, trial and error quickly, and let the market verify the feasibility of the idea. This kind of practice allows me to not only continue to learn, but also to get closer to market demand and make services truly valuable.
Reflections on body recovery
However, there was still some room for improvement on the day. My foot injury has still not fully recovered, and I walked a lot today. The burden on my body made me start to reflect - maybe I should manage my activity level more carefully and not let overexertion affect my recovery. Proper exercise is important, but moderation and care during recovery are equally critical. Every action is an investment in the future, and physical health is the most critical capital in this long-distance race.
Looking back on this day, from reflections in the hospital to reunions with old friends, from innovations at work to physical reminders, every moment is full of meaning. Health, connection, and growth are integral parts of life. In the days to come, I hope that I can cherish the present more, take good care of my body and mind, maintain my curiosity about the world, and continue to explore new possibilities.
The journey of life is not a straight path, but full of ups and downs and turns. No matter where we are and what challenges we face, as long as we are grateful, keep learning, and move forward bravely, we will eventually move towards a broader world.
