There is a saying: “A picture is worth a thousand words”, have you heard of it?
To be honest, when I hear these words, which specializes in teaching copywriting, I always feel a little sad. The young and promising teacher Qiu Yilin is my Facebook friend, and I have gradually become familiar with him because we are in the Facebook group “[Doodle! To be honest, there are many people in this world who can draw, and there are countless illustrators I know. But it is rare to see someone like Mr. Qiu who not only works hard to create, but also actively promotes visual notes and graphic creation. In fact, he is able to summarize his learning experience and output relevant knowledge about visual thinking and graphic note-taking in an orderly manner through Facebook groups, e-newsletters and online courses, which is quite commendable.
As the founder of the “I love taking notes” community, I also really like taking notes. In addition to using text to keep records, I have recently started to doodle in my notebook, or use the iPad to draw various visual notes. The longer I dabble in visual note-taking, the more I feel it is a skill worth learning and one that needs to be promoted to more friends. In the past two years, I have not only been inspired by the Facebook group “Doodle! Turn your life around with visual notes”, but I have also been a loyal reader of the e-newsletter “Visualization Coach Yilin-Start New Thinking with Images”. Nowadays, I am becoming more and more accustomed to using pictures and texts to convey my opinions, ideas and ideas, so I highly recommend everyone to try it!
