I believe everyone is familiar with the proverb “time is money”, right? There are many books on the market teaching people how to increase productivity, which shows everyone’s strong demand for improving work efficiency.
Because I work as a corporate consultant and lecturer, I also found that some friends around me often spend two or three hours writing a product copy or blog article… Well, this sounds very laborious, and it is not very economical. In fact, many people have asked me in the past how to write fast and well? If you want to improve your writing speed, there are certainly ways. First of all, I think you can try to dismantle your own article writing process and think about the value and significance of the content? Then, you can go back and think about the content production method to see if there is anything worth improving? Or are there any tools I can use? In order to improve your writing speed, I encourage everyone to read more, think more, and write more. Here, I would like to suggest that you establish a writing framework that you are used to (if you don’t know the specific method, you can discuss it with me at any time). In other words, start from conception and finding featured pictures, all the way to writing, formatting, etc., and try to develop a writing process that suits your own style. Having said that, of course, I usually need to collect more information and store inspiration. In this way, the speed of writing articles will be much faster!
In fact, I think the focus of writing has never been on speed or the number of words. What is more important is that you must establish your own writing mode and style. There are a lot of details and knowledge involved such as writing, typesetting, image and text arrangement, etc.!
Well, if we simplify the problem first and focus on writing, then I think that if you want to write quickly and well, you must focus on the development of the following three abilities:
- Writing skills: The writing should be simple, easy to understand, valuable and interesting. In addition, there must be no typos and punctuation must be used appropriately. More importantly, the content of the article must not be preachy, but must successfully arouse the interest of the target audience.
- Expression ability: The logical structure of the text should be simple and clear, and have the ability to summarize, organize and express clearly. We can communicate through storytelling, which can resonate with readers and leave a good impression.
