Since leaving the media industry, I first worked as a consultant in the corporate world, and later as a professional lecturer and columnist (https://www.vistacheng.com/p/about.html), which was unexpected. Although I am usually busy at work, I often laugh at myself as an “unfree worker” - the information I come into contact with every day is complex and numerous, and there are often more than a dozen industry reports that need to be covered… But to say the least, I feel at ease and have become accustomed to such a life.

As a business consultant or columnist, you must naturally integrate the ever-changing industry trends, and then combine your own experience, expertise and daily observations to output a solution that can specifically solve the company’s pain points, or a resounding article.

Ever since I was the editor-in-chief of a financial technology magazine, many friends have been asking me about digital work techniques or learning methods. I want to know if there are any great tips for self-improvement? In recent years, many students from Writing Class have asked me why I am able to teach Content Marketing and copywriting despite having a background in science and engineering?

Although I have studied electronic engineering, information management and industrial engineering before, I usually like to try to study across fields. Therefore, topics including communication, cultural creativity, and business management are all within the scope of coverage. These experiences not only broadened my knowledge, but also cultivated my macro vision. More importantly, I was able to draw parallels across borders and apply what I learned.

Also because I have often given lectures in companies and universities in recent years, I began to think about what is the learning method suitable for modern people? What should we do so that we can effectively improve ourselves? To be honest, there are too many books on the market talking about various learning methods. At first glance, they all make sense, but obviously these [books](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010852800 ?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202004) has a good starting point, but it is not grounded and may not be helpful to everyone.

I think there is no need to think about learning too complicated, as long as you develop the habit of input, thinking and output. In fact, we dabble in a lot of information every day, intentionally or unintentionally. What we lack is actually developing the habit of thinking and outputting. Therefore, I often encourage friends and students around me to develop these good habits.

In order to verify whether my thinking logic is correct, starting from the past few years, I have also been looking for relevant reference books to support it. Previously, when I accidentally found this book in a Japanese bookstore written by a psychiatrist [Shion Kazawa] (https://search.books.com.tw/se/query/key/% “[学びをRESULTSに変えるアウトプット全集]” written by E6%A8%BA%E6%BE%A4%E7%B4%AB%E8%8B%91/adv_author/1/)(ht tps://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/M010082731?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202004)》, it’s like finding a treasure.

The author, who is also a best-selling author and psychiatrist, pointed out that if you want to learn more effectively, just reading books and listening to lectures is not enough. In fact, you need more thinking and application. In other words, it is not enough to input a large amount of information, we must also pay special attention to output.

The highest application of knowledge: a collection of outputs that maximize learning results》Author [Hua Ze Ziyuan](https://search.books.com.tw/search/query/key/%E6%A8%BA%E6%BE%A4%E7%B4%AB% E8%8B%91/adv_author/1/) also further explained that due to the structure of the brain, it is futile to just absorb a large amount of information without thinking and processing it properly and then outputting your own opinions.

Input, speculation and output have become my usual working mode, and it is also a lifestyle I often recommend to my students. I am glad that the author of this book agrees with this point of view. He further points out: In this world, people who can deliver results attach great importance to output.

As for how to output? Dr. Kawasawa Shion also mentioned many methods in this book. He also pointed out that only the more you write, the more your brain will be activated. When I first saw this paragraph, I felt particularly excited, not because I teach writing, but because it confirmed my view that writing is an effective way of output.

Recently, I am very happy to see the introduction of the book “[The Highest Learning to Use: A Complete Collection of Outputs to Maximize Learning Results]” (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010852800?utm_ source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202004)”, which reminded me of the wonderful experience of reading this book in the past, and I feel it is very appropriate to recommend it to everyone. As we all know, reading is a good way to learn. I often organize reading clubs and lead a group of friends to read together. Unfortunately, modern people are busy with work. Many people are either too busy to read books, or they find it boring after turning a few pages. It is difficult to read the whole book… However, “[The Most Learned Usage]” (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products /0010852800?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202004)》This book has several features that are particularly worth mentioning:

  • Firstly, because the author has a background as a psychiatrist, in the process of writing this book, he was supplemented by professional knowledge such as psychiatry, brain science, and psychology from time to time, which can be said to be more convincing.
  • Secondly, the layout of this book maintains the style of a Japanese book, using cute illustrations to guide readers to get started, and then understand the tips of input, thinking and output. I believe that even friends who are not good at reading can easily absorb it through the presentation of pictures and texts.
  • Furthermore, each unit of this book is short and easy to digest and absorb. It is very suitable for busy friends to keep on their desks. You can pick it up and read it when you are free, and it will not be a big burden.

Looking at this book, the main discussion is about the importance of output and various methods of learning and output. The reason why I resonated with this book is actually because input, speculation and output are already my usual working mode, and it is also a lifestyle that I am willing to recommend to my friends and students.

Well, in this volatile era when the epidemic is raging, reading good books and thinking more are actually good coping strategies. But input alone is not enough. Now let us master Wonderful Life through output!
