Just a few years ago, my life faced a major change - my role changed from a simple office worker to a wife and mother. Recently, I started reading articles on the Medium platform. I found that the reading interface of Medium’s mobile app is quite comfortable and convenient. At the same time, there are many experts on the platform who have written all kinds of wonderful articles. Build your own inspiration library

Oh my God! What if inspiration isn’t the panacea for writing? The most annoying problem in writing is that you want to find inspiration, but the problem is that you don’t know where to find it?
What should you do if you have no inspiration?
Since it is called “inspiration”, it should be a sudden flash of inspiration or a sudden enlightenment! Thinking carefully about these moments, it seems that they are not caused by the appearance of gods and Buddhas, but are the result of the auspicious light accumulated in life, but it just happened to be the result of thinking.
Live like a human being, live emotionally and observe carefully.

Teacher Vista quoted Hong Kong director Wong Jing’s quotations from an interview, emphasizing that writers cannot rely solely on inspiration. Inspiration needs to be accumulated and organized before it can become a tool that can be used when needed.
Before you start creating your inspiration library
Before you start, you must first think clearly, what is the purpose of collecting information? The important key is to know how to organize and organize inspiration and apply it. Otherwise, you will be like a scavenger, picking up and recycling items all over the house. When you really need them, you won’t be able to tell which ones are the treasures.
1. Manage your time well, be self-disciplined and not greedy
Teacher Vista emphasized that there is no need to wait until the information is fully searched before starting work. As long as you have 20 or 30% of the information, you can start trying to sort it out. It doesn’t matter if you start writing directly. You can summarize and adjust the direction of collecting information later.
To be honest, in the past, I would worry in vain and just think about finding all the information. As a result, I would find a lot of information and save a lot of articles. Just because I didn’t find all the information, I would feel very uneasy. The result is that there is a lot of information that has not been read, or has been forgotten after reading, making it difficult to put it to use. After the article is completed, you will look back and find that the direction of some information is not consistent with the theme, or it is repetitive, which is a waste of time.
2. Concentration practice
Regarding improving the concentration required for writing, Teacher Vista suggested that you try to time each task, summarize your time allocation on work projects (https://www.contenthacker.today/2018/03/lecturer-content-marketing-generate-profit.html), identify efficiency issues, and recommended some assistance tools. After all, there are too many temptations on the Internet now, and various information platforms can easily distract people. I feel that I need to improve in this area, and I often can’t help but browse Facebook, Instagram and LINE to relax. But time flies by in a blink of an eye. Instead, going home, taking care of the children and handling housework are the things that really need to be focused on (miserable).
Occasionally turn off some temptations that affect you and pull yourself back. Especially when you start to have multiple identities and roles, how do you choose between them and make good use of your time? Only in this way can you find a balance in your daily life of being mediocre and always chasing after.
When the collection of inspiration materials is almost complete, go back and compare the following three key points:
- Object (Audience).
*Feature.
*Aim.
You can gradually outline the intersections and combine the emotional context to gradually complete the article.
Regarding inspiration collection tools, Teacher Vista believes that online tools are advancing with the times, and there will continue to be more and more powerful ones. Just find something you are used to using and feel comfortable with. What’s more important is to establish the habit of collecting inspiration and organizing the inspiration library. I am personally very interested in Notion and will take it as the next research object after challenging Trello.
Teacher Vista mentioned a very convenient method, which is to “open a LINE group or private Facebook group with just yourself”, and you can easily post information or hyperlinks into it. I have heard of similar methods in teacher Zheng Junjie’s class before, and now I have started to use them myself for a while. It is really a clever little trick.
Summary of experience
After the lecture, I learned that Master had already shown me through the door. If you want to make sure what you learned in the lecture is accurate and in place, you still have to go back and adjust your existing habits.
