Early this morning, I came to attend the MIX2018 Innovation Design Annual Conference (opens in a new tab). For me, it is not just to listen to Master Louis Rosenfeld’s lectures, but also to take this precious opportunity to learn from everyone.

Louis Since I was a student studying book information, I followed his teacher’s advice and plunged into this magical field, gradually cultivating his literacy and insights into information architecture. It is really not an easy thing. His sharing this morning helped everyone re-outline and organize the ins and outs of information architecture, allowing us to understand more clearly what information architecture means to the world.

Louis Rosenfeld also pointed out that research on information architecture cannot be carried out in isolation. Only by having a clear understanding of the social and cultural context can we understand the truth. He also mentioned the most popular artificial intelligence nowadays, and pointed out that artificial intelligence needs the assistance of information architecture to more effectively grasp people’s various intentions.

From his speech, I further understood the [subtle relationship] between Context, Content and User (https://hpx.tw/archives/631 (opens in a new tab)).

  • Context: business situation, corporate goals, competitors, business strategy, channel matching, customer service process…

  • Content: the elements that make up the website, discuss the source, authorization, type, structure, storage form of the content…

  • Users: Understand target users, user satisfaction, website usage analysis…

For me, who is committed to promoting content marketing, I have learned a lot from information architecture in the past two days. Thank you Louis, and thank you to the organizers of the conference for bringing us a feast of information.
