Friends who are familiar with me may know that in addition to being a consultant and lecturer, I also have extensive experience in the media industry. In addition, I have also served as an online planner and product manager. Therefore, I am no stranger to the fourth edition of the book “[Information Architecture: Website, App and Information Ecosystem Planning] (https://goo.gl/g7mhFT)”, and I have even read the contents of the first and second editions of the book before.

Information architecture is the combined structure that affects system organization, navigation, and classification labels in the information environment. This is a discipline that applies architecture and design to digital environments.

Thank you Alex Chou for giving me the opportunity to participate in this HPX 103 “Information Architecture” author meeting. I feel like a little fan, following everyone to get acquainted with the master Louis Rosenfeld. I met many old friends and new friends at the scene today. Everyone was chatting about user experience (UX) and information architecture (IA). I was so happy!

Tonight, I heard a book club friend [Planetoid Hsu] (https://www.facebook.com/planetoid.hsu) ask an interesting question: “Master Louis Rosenfeld, how do you usually organize and organize the web articles, academic documents or files you read?”

You may be like me, full of daydreams about this information architecture expert who has written numerous books, thinking that he has a very unique approach to information organization and collection. But Louis Rosenfeld also admitted that classification is very painful, so he does it occasionally. However, he mentioned in tonight’s meeting that he often uses Gmail’s label and search functions, which is almost exactly the same as me.

──For me, Gmail has almost become an indispensable database in daily life, even more critical than the role played by Evernote. (By the way, as an advertisement, I will share “How to build an inspiration database” at the [Ouchi Master Lecture] (https://www.contenthacker.today/p/lecture.html) in June. Interested friends are also welcome to sign up!)

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the two translators of the fourth edition of “[Information Architecture: Website, App and Information Ecosystem Planning] (https://goo.gl/g7mhFT)” [Richard Tsai] (https://www.facebook.com/uxrichard) and [Max Chen] (https://www.facebook.com/max.sy.chen). After all, translation is a hard job, and the translation fee is so meager. You two really have the heart of Buddha!

Just connected to Louis Rosenfeld master’s Facebook, it was shockingly discovered that he has publicly shared the slideshow tomorrow at MIX2018 Innovation Design Annual Conference =https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dropbox.com%2Fs%2Fcf5l6fsj0vn81uo%2FMIX-conference-May-2018.key%3Fdl%3D0&h=ATMBDCOO9iqrgsFhe Falling In and Out and In Love with Information Architecture”.

Falling in and out and in love with Information Architecture from Louis Rosenfeld

Well, I can’t wait to hear what Master Louis Rosenfeld will share tomorrow!
