The author of this article Rick is an ordinary information engineer, but he has a heart that is unwilling to be ordinary and study hard. Loves reading, softball and accompanying children to grow up happily. Thank you for authorizing the “Vista Book Club” website to reprint. We hereby express our gratitude.

This is my first time to participate in the Reading Club of Vista Teacher. Before that, I had participated in the “Content Hacker Lecture”.因此对于Vista老师也很熟悉,很期待在读书会能得到什么输入(Input)。 The book I am sharing today is “[The Most Productive Year] (https://goo.gl/iSK5gQ)”. The title of this book is very attractive, and the author has researched the experience of improving productivity through a year of his own experiments.

Overall, the methods introduced in the book may not be applicable to everyone, but most of them are good reminders.

After reading “The Most Productive Year”, I had a lot of feelings. It goes without saying that everyone wants to live a productive life, and has more or less adopted some methods to achieve such a goal. For me, after having two children, the feeling of not having enough time has only deepened.

In this reading meeting, Teacher Vista asked us to do an exercise, try to make a work list, prioritize it, and think about which projects we will spend more time on?

The first thing that pops into my mind is how to more effectively arrange the time from when I get home from get off work to before going to bed, so that I can efficiently complete many things I want to do (for example: reading with my children, learning to make presentations, taking content courses and exercising, etc.). By thinking through this exercise and allowing myself to write it out one by one, I found that I would have clearer ideas to organize. At the same time, I also know that the more important lesson later is to learn to actively manage and plan time with the help of tools. Well, I will no longer be chased by things and busyness!

The teacher also shared his experience in the reading group. During these processes, we should not just be satisfied with completing the things on the to-do list. It is best to take a bird’s-eye view from a higher perspective and examine our current life status. The pace is not just fast, but the rhythm of your own life.

This also reminds me of a book I read before, “[Why work like this is fast, accurate, and good: A globally popular work efficiency upgrade plan that will make your life no longer hard and work more time-saving and labor-saving] (https://goo.gl/r4J2Ls)”. We must always think about our moon landing goals and have higher-level goal driving forces to fill our lives with motivation to move forward.

Finally, Teacher Vista shared with us the concept of IPO, which is Input -> Process -> Output. The teacher encouraged us that we often receive a lot of Input, but it would be a pity to just stay here. How to generate Output through Process is crucial.

Just like in the information field, we often talk about how to process data into information, and then refine it into knowledge. It is true that writing blogs and experience articles is a good way of output. For first-time writers, this process may often encounter challenges and even pain, but after developing a habit over time, you will get used to it and start to enjoy it.

Well, let’s work together!
