Online courses are gaining momentum, how can you do marketing?

A business owner once asked me, “What is content hacking?”
I think that being a “content hacker” is not just about being able to write copy or execute content marketing, but more importantly, you need to have a growth mindset and the ability to interpret data.
Recently, in order to promote my [“Content Power” online course] (https://content.tw/power/), I have put into practical use all the tools and methods that I have shared on the “Content Hacking” website and lectures. I just took this opportunity to actually test my familiarity with content marketing and digital tools, and to understand which methods are more effective?
This time, we collaborated with Hahow to launch the [“Content Power: The Super Power of Building Brands” online course] (https://content.tw/power/). We officially started fundraising for the course on January 3, and it has only been less than a week. I really appreciate everyone’s support.
If you want to ask how to market and promote online courses? I think “product power” - that is, the characteristics and value of the course itself, is still the most important! But if it can be combined with some novel digital marketing tools, it may achieve good results.
After a brief inventory, as of now, the marketing and promotion tools and methods used by “Content Power” include:

Placement of Facebook ads.

Exposure and publicity of fundraising videos.

Sales Page (Landing Page) to promote the course.

Send back a screenshot of the proof of purchase to participate in the lucky draw.

Article placement on the website “Content Hacker”.

The chatbot of the fan page (“Content Research Institute” leaves a message to send a content marketing case).
In addition to the methods mentioned above, today I tried a new way to play. In the afternoon, I posted a post on my [fan page] (https://www.facebook.com/content.taiwan/posts/1702570886460738) using a collage of multiple pictures, hoping to present the two key demands of “fundraising exceeding 150%” and “course unlocking”.
Although it cannot create the ultra-high diffusion effect again like the previous use of chat bots, the reach numbers this time are not bad. Overall, the publicity effect was not bad, and it was quickly shared dozens of times. It is obvious that the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” makes sense. Everyone likes and is used to the stimulation brought by the visual.
——What’s even better is that through friends’ sharing, some new orders have also been brought in.
If you also want to promote your own online courses, you may wish to cleverly use this characteristic of your target audience to plan your marketing strategy.
Although it is not yet the stage of review, looking back on the past few days, I have really learned a lot, and you can imagine that there are many details in each field.
In the past, I had no experience in operating online courses, so I had to explore everything on my own. Now I gradually understand the difference in marketing and promotion between online courses and physical courses. I am also grateful to several lecturer friends for their suggestions and Hahow’s assistance.
I am very fortunate that I can get help from many noble people in the process of “Crossing the River by Feeling for Stones”. I’m also very happy because through hands-on practice, I can make adjustments through data instead of just randomly placing ads based on my feelings. These efforts have also allowed me to grow more.
At this moment when the number of funds raised is about to exceed 200%, please allow me to use the small space of the “Content Hacker” website to express my incomparable gratitude to all the students who have expressed their actual support by purchasing, as well as the friends who have assisted me in marketing and promoting the course.
For me, there is still a lot of room for imagination and creativity in the field of online courses, which is worthy of careful exploration. I don’t think the only way to get orders is to spend money on advertising, or only to follow traditional marketing and publicity methods.
