Today is July 31st, which is also the day my new book “[Slow Reading and Understanding in Seconds: Vista’s Digital Good Copywriting Analysis Time] (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010794093?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201807)” is published. For being able to successfully publish this book, I would like to thank many people, including the partners of [Capital Press] (http://www.briefingpress.net/), as well as my teachers and friends who usually support me. Here, I would like to express my special thanks to Professor [Lu Xipeng] (https://www.facebook.com/happy88.lu), a full-time distinguished professor of the Department of Information Management at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, who took the time to help me write the preface. At the same time, I would also like to thank the founder of “486 Group Buying Network” [Chen Yanchang] (https://www.facebook.com/486dd) and the serial entrepreneur [Ye Jianhan] (https://www.facebook.com/twJohnYeh) for their recommendations. Of course, there are also teachers, classmates and junior students from the National Taiwan University Institute of Industrial Engineering (https://www.ems.ntu.edu.tw/), the Cultural and Creative EMBA at the National Education University, and the EMBA at Taiwan Normal University, who also gave me a lot of encouragement and support!

Looking back on the past few years, I have often lectured in many media and institutions, and have also been to many companies to assist with internal training. I have also lectured and taught at universities. The topics I teach are also quite diverse, ranging from copywriting, content marketing, social marketing to content strategy, growth hacking and personal branding.

──What’s interesting is that no matter which topic we talk about, it seems to be related to copywriting.

Everyone knows that copywriting helps product sales, but I also find that many people have misunderstandings about copywriting, thinking that if the copywriting is well written, all products or services will sell well. In fact, in the entire sales process, copywriting only plays a driving role in stimulating consumer desire, and many other links are needed to cooperate behind the scenes. An easy-to-understand copy can not only shorten the distance between you and the audience, but also help convey your point of view, which is also a basic element of good copy.

To write good copy, there is no standard answer, and there may be thousands of methods, but there are no fixed patterns or routines. Of course, I don’t recommend that you stick to certain established techniques. You should start with a comprehensive understanding and learning; because even if you use a certain routine this time to successfully achieve the goal of product sales, there is no guarantee that it will be successful the next time you follow it!

In this era of fragmented information, people receive a lot of information through the Internet, but without deep understanding and memory, it will become rigid over time. Therefore, in addition to encouraging everyone to observe and write more in daily life, I have also always advocated the establishment of a fast and slow rhythm of life in order to overcome unnecessary information anxiety.

Talking about the original motivation for writing this book, I hope to help everyone find the joy of writing, especially those friends who regard writing as a daunting path. I sincerely hope that through this book, I can lead readers step by step to break through their blind spots and find a writing method and style that suits them. I really hope to share some writing skills and marketing concepts with you, so that every reader can write eye-catching copy with confidence.

In this book, I try to approach it from different aspects and guide friends who are interested in copywriting on a learning path from zero to one, so that everyone can first establish a correct understanding of copywriting, and then understand how to write copywriting so that it can be deeply rooted in people’s hearts.

Overall, I hope to use this book to share my writing experience in the Internet and media fields over the years, and also to systematically organize some of the information I learned in copywriting classes into content that is more suitable for self-study and reading. I hope you will join me to re-experience the joy of writing and build strong copywriting skills through a lot of practice.
