I like walking. As long as it doesn’t rain, I will go out for exercise at 5:30 every morning.
This morning, I wore these red shoes and went out for a walk. Because Minquan Park was being renovated recently, I headed towards Songshan Airport along Minquan East Road. When I was passing Dunhua North Road, I happened to be waiting for a red light. On a whim, I picked up my phone to take a selfie.
I just happened to upload it to Facebook along with a few photos of nearby buildings. Soon, some friends gave me likes, and some asked if I was wearing new shoes. It looks like a very vibrant color.
Well, I don’t know if they are popular or not. The red color is really eye-catching and cute… However, although this pair of red shoes seems to be in good condition, they are really not new shoes!
The story of red shoes
To be honest, I have forgotten when I bought this pair of red shoes, but it was at least three or five years ago. Having said that, of course there is a story behind this pair of red shoes: when I saw this pair of shoes in a shoe store, I was attracted to them at first sight. I tried them on on the spot and felt they fit very well, so I bought them without thinking.

I quickly put them on the shelf and put them in the deepest part of the shoe cabinet. Although I rarely wear it, I really can’t bear to throw it away. I was a little worried that this was just an illusion, so I wore the red shoes again when I went out for a meeting. I just checked my Apple Watch and it turns out that I have walked 10.52 kilometers today. Well, it seems like there isn’t much of a problem?
