Although many people are staying home due to the epidemic, the cruel thing is that time never stops for anyone. In the blink of an eye, July has waved goodbye to us and welcomed the coming August. How are you feeling at the moment?

For me, it seems that I am slowly getting used to this kind of life. I remember that I went out last week and saw that the familiar streets of Taipei had become a little deserted. Although it felt a bit unfamiliar, I also knew that this was already a daily routine! I usually eat at home, but occasionally when I need to find food at noon, I can’t help but feel a little troubled, because many restaurants have been obviously affected and are still closed to this day. If you think about it carefully, catering companies that can still maintain takeout services are lucky.

Socrates has a very famous saying in Plato’s dialogue “The Apology”, which means “The unexamined life is not worth living.” A long time ago, I heard this quote quoted by many people, and it impressed me deeply.

Of course, self-examination is a very important lesson. August is about to usher in a new year. As I open my calendar, I start to review the big and small things that happened in July.

Affected by the epidemic, all original physical courses and activities have been cancelled! For me, of course, the main focus of July is to record UDN Orange Generation’s “Write Your Own Story” series of online courses. I recorded one class a week and successfully recorded all six classes!

What’s interesting is that although it also talks about writing, this course is very different from the copywriting, content marketing and other topics that I have taught in the past. The writing courses I offer for mature friends are not focused on job hunting or salary increases, but I hope to help everyone reduce their worries about writing and happily write wonderful chapters of life with the pen in their hands! If the key project in July is the planning and production of “Adults’ Writing Class”, then in August, I think the highlight should be the [First Graphic Creation Training Camp] (https://creationcamp.vstar.school/) prepared by Teacher Penny and I! As the saying goes, “Teaching teaches you each other.” I look forward to interacting with students and creating beautiful sparks!

I feel a little heavy when I think of how this sudden epidemic has changed the way the entire world operates and ruined the bright future of many people. The epidemic is still severe, and Taiwan has not yet fully lifted the lockdown. Although many friends have been vaccinated one after another, we still cannot be careless!
