September is about to enter, and although the weather is still very hot, seeing TV news mentioning that schools at all levels are preparing to welcome students back makes me realize that this year’s summer vacation seems to be coming to an end.
When chatting with a friend, he said: “This year has been spent inexplicably again, and unknowingly it has been two years blank.”
I believe everyone can understand how much the epidemic has impacted us. When I see that many people cannot get the vaccine, or even if they are vaccinated, they are still infected with the epidemic, the sadness comes to my heart unconsciously, and I feel again the insignificance and fragility of human beings.
They say “life is short.” No one can really say when we will leave the earth. If you want to leave this world without regrets, the best way is to seize the moment and cherish everything you have in front of you. In other words, it means making life more comfortable and less painful.
Life should be colorful, life should not be empty.
The meaning of not leaving anything blank in life is that we should be responsible for ourselves. Having said that, it does not mean that you should fill your life with busy work and leave no room to breathe; nor should you judge it by worldly wealth or fame as the only criterion for evaluating success.
As I get older, I have a clearer understanding of my boundaries and abilities: What are the things that I like or are good at? What are the things I want to try and learn more about? Slowly, I began to find the way forward…
Although some friends around me have begun to live a semi-retired life, I know that that day is still far away from me. There are still many dreams waiting for me to pursue, and many beautiful things waiting for me to create… When I think of this, my eyes light up, and naturally I no longer feel how depressing the life in front of me is.
Former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once famously said: “Never let a good crisis go to waste!” No one likes to encounter a crisis, but what should we do if we really encounter it? Sometimes, it is when you are forced by a crisis that you have no choice but to think of a good way to break out and survive.
I always believe that human beings have huge potential and can overcome all difficulties. Let’s work hard together!
