According to a foreign [investigative report](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20191218005467/en/350-Billion-Online-Education-Market-Global-Forecast-to-2025-by-E nd-User-Learning-Mode-Self-Paced-Instructor-Led-Technology-Country-Company---ResearchAndMarkets.com) shows that the global online education market is expected to reach US$350 billion by 2025.

The [online education industry] (https://cornerstonevc.tw/e-learning-industry-analysis/), which was originally in the ascendant, has now attracted more attention from all walks of life due to the impact of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in the past two years, and more institutions, schools and individuals have begun to invest in related research. For example, some of my physical courses are now forced to be moved online!

Many teachers say that online teaching is often more tiring than physical classes because there are more details to take care of! Well, as a professional lecturer, I feel the same way.

Speaking of online learning, I believe everyone is familiar with it. Recently, due to the epidemic, many of my friends, like me, have been watching a lot of dramas at home and taking a lot of online classes, right? For example, in the past few days, I have started taking Notion’s online courses, and also participated in the “Awakening Money Awareness and Embrace Financial Independence” workshops organized by sisters Kathy and Yi Rong.

I have bought a lot of online courses in the past few years, and I have also opened several online courses on platforms such as hahow and YOTTA. I have always wanted to break through the existing teaching model, and also hope to renovate some of my existing course content.

Different from the traditional one-to-many teaching model where teachers teach and students listen, Lu Guanwei, chairman and CEO of the University Platform Education Foundation, believes that future education will shift to “[learner-centered] (https://www.bnext.com.tw/article/60780/education-university-global-generation-december)” personalized learning. Being learner-centered is naturally the right direction. I also hope that it will not only be a simple lecture, but also an interactive way to enhance everyone’s learning motivation and achievement.

Therefore, recently I am studying the design concept of the popular foreign cohort-based courses (Cohort-Based Course). I want to combine the advantages of online teaching with the interactive model of the learning community to develop a series of new courses in order to provide students with vivid, rich and effective teaching content.

Having said that, to prepare a new course, of course, it is not just about planning the course outline and making teaching briefings. There are many things waiting to be executed by yourself. For example, community management, sales page design and promotional video production all require a lot of thought.

I took the time today to try to record a short video, and also figured out how to add subtitles on my own. These are areas that I have rarely touched upon before, and it was very interesting to do.

Wow, this is really not easy. Don’t look at those YouTubers and Internet celebrities who seem to be very happy. In fact, after you experience it yourself, you will know that it is not that easy! By the way, something unexpected happened today. I still remember that I wrote an article just a few days ago, mentioning my experience of going to the hospital to see outpatient clinic; as a result, I went to the hospital again tonight, but this time it was in the emergency room!

After dinner, I started to feel a little unwell. After some rest, I still felt uncomfortable, so I had to hail a taxi and go straight to the hospital. Based on past experience, the emergency room is usually bustling even in the middle of the night. But now it may be really affected by the epidemic, and no one dares to go out casually. There are probably less than five people who came to the hospital for emergency treatment tonight, right?

Fortunately, after the injection and medicine, I regained my strength. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to write a diary now! Good health is very important, so please take good care of yourself.
