Daily life after the epidemic cools down
As the epidemic gradually cools down, Taiwan’s epidemic prevention alert has been lowered to Level 2, and many companies have begun to return to normal operations. As far as I know, many friends have begun to return to the office this week. Of course, some training courses or educational training for government agencies have also gradually returned to physical entities from online. Invited by the Keelung City Cultural Bureau, I will go to Keelung this Saturday to give a course on Press Release Writing. Since I haven’t been to Keelung for a long time, I took some time today to check the train information near Nanjing Sanmin MRT Station.
The heavy rain in the afternoon
Unexpectedly, the weather was fine when I went out for exercise at around five o’clock in the morning, but in the afternoon the weather took a turn for the worse and it started to rain heavily. But I still went out and walked slowly forward under my umbrella. I suddenly remembered Wang Menglin’s song “Scene in the Rain”, which made me feel a little happy and not so dull… Although the lockdown is gradually being lifted, there are still not many people in Taipei in the rain. I saw only twos and threes of pedestrians on the road, and I felt that the number of buses and taxis was a bit small. When I passed McDonald’s and Starbucks, I was surprised to find that there were not many customers inside! Well, it’s really not like the bustling Taipei in the past. Walking on Section 5 of Nanjing East Road, this place should have been bustling with traffic. While I was looking for the stop sign leading to Keelung, I hummed the tune of “Scenery in the Rain”. Well, at this moment, I suddenly miss those taxis that are running rampant and honking…
