Participating in the 2nd Content Hacking Lecture (CHL2) helped me clear up my doubts. Here I will try my best to share the following three points without being outrageous: deconstructing the predecessors, problem awareness and content calendar.

Deconstruction of seniors

Before writing, I suggest you look up to your successful predecessors. First find a blogger you like and observe a few things, including: platform, style and content.

Different types of bloggers gather on different platforms. Depending on the platform, you will have the possibility of additional exposure. If you are favored by the editor and are lucky enough to be featured in the platform’s selected articles, you can quickly gain traffic; however, the corresponding autonomy is relatively poor (for example: interference from advertising, limited layout format, etc.).

Style can be divided into pictures, tone of voice, and tone. The pictures selected when writing can be photographer-level beautiful pictures or funny hand-drawn cartoons. As for tone and tone, it can be self-deprecating, cynical, honest, or overtly domineering. Only by finding your own pictures and tone can you create your own characteristics!

Most of the blog content is on a single topic, but of course some are combined with different fields. This sentence clearly points out why people should read your article, and what will they gain after reading it? And, finally, what action do you want the reader to take. To put it simply, writing with a sense of problem is the only way to create a sense of value in an article.

Vista provides article templates in the classroom for everyone to refer to, but this is not the only formula. It is important for every author to find the writing posture that makes them most comfortable so that they can continue writing for a long time.

Content Calendar

Our calendar is filled with various itineraries, times and places. It is like a life navigator. As long as you follow the plan, there will be no confusion. However, writing is just like architecture and interior design. Isn’t artistic creation unpredictable?

From my professional point of view, whether it is architecture or interior design, the first thing is to explore the boundaries (budget, style, expectations or regulations, etc…), and then develop the design soul within the boundaries.

If writing also has a navigator, you no longer have to worry about writing topics. Not only can you estimate article output and schedule, but you can also enter the field of professional content producers. But is there really such an artifact?

Spend some time carefully and fill in the topics of the blog posts for the whole year into the schedule based on the time unit of the whole year. Only by raising your perspective to the editor-in-chief and no longer being a word farmer can you see the overall situation.
