Foreword: Among the Asian countries I have visited, Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia have always been the main ones. Because I like Bollywood music, I began to become curious about the mysterious country of India. In recent years, my friends have shared their travels, and there are Indian colleagues in the company. In addition, I know that this is the country with the largest “actual” population in the world and the fastest growing population. Its future position in the world cannot be ignored, so this year I finally set foot in this incredible country to experience it all for myself! The “Golden Triangle of North India” is the most classic route for a first visit to India. Along the way, we visit three major cities: NEW DELHI, JAIPUR, and AGRA, as well as BHARATPUR between JAIPUR and AGRA. This is the Golden Triangle. If you drive around it, it will take 12.5 hours, but I think the traffic jam should be discussed separately!

Because this is a country with huge cultural differences and a lot of security news, even though I have dozens of self-guided travel experiences in other places, I decided to go with a group tour for my first visit to India. I chose the “China Airlines direct flight to India ~ 8 days of North India Golden Triangle, Taj Mahal, and Underground Palace” package itinerary from [Lion Travel Agency] (http://bit.ly/2L1eoaK), which allows the travel agency to handle all the chores and focus on fun.
The travelogue begins: Our group tour was from April 29 to May 6. Since April has entered summer, the temperature is between 30 and 40 degrees, so it is also the off-season for tourism. It was so slow that the group was not confirmed until 10 days before departure. Although the waiting process is excruciating, it means that after the group leaves, there are fewer members and it is convenient to gather! After landing, we discovered that although there were only a few members in the group, the service was not discounted. The tour bus assigned to us was also a large air-conditioned bus, and it was unexpectedly new. What a surprise!

However, it is said that the driver’s seat of tour buses in India is not air-conditioned. From the car, there is a door blocking it. Driving on such a hot day is really hard!

In addition to the original Taiwanese tour guide, there is also an Indian tour guide, driver brother, and driver brother who is very good in Chinese. Why is there such a role as driver boy? It turns out that during long journeys, he has to assist in taking care of the car and serving passengers. I heard that the younger drivers are all unpaid interns and have to follow the older brother everywhere until he has memorized all the road conditions, and then wait for the day when he will be introduced as a full-time driver!
[Day1-1]: Bahá’í House of Worship (Lotus Temple)
The first attraction after landing is the Lotus Temple, which is similar to the Sydney Opera House. However, it is not an Indian temple, but a house of worship for the Baha’i Faith. It is designed and shaped according to the lotus, the national flower of India, and built with 27 marble petals, the most auspicious number. There is no god inside, only a space for believers to reflect.

According to Wikipedia, it has received 50 million visitors since its completion in 1986 to 2002, making it the most visited building in the world. Although I am not sure how believers can meditate peacefully like this.

Although the white lotus looks very refreshing, it is actually very hot at the venue. The sweat will evaporate after being covered with sweat. Moreover, the moment you step barefoot on the floor of the hall, you will be so hot that you scream!

The Gudamina Minar, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, was built in 1199 and is the tallest stone tower in India. It has 5 floors and is 72.5 meters high. It has Arabic pictures and Koranic scriptures on it. It is full of Persian and Indian culture and art and is quite exquisite. Not only that, this area has a history of more than a thousand years, and there are many architectural cultures such as Hinduism, Afghan Islam, and Greece. I can’t believe that it has been preserved for almost a thousand years!

The hotel I stayed at on the first night was ITC WELCOMHOTEL DWARKA. Except for the waterproof system in the bathroom, which was not very good, and sometimes the water flowing from the faucet was earthy red(?), everything else was fine.

There is a shopping mall downstairs, which is the only opportunity to buy in the supermarket during this trip. There are also HIMALAYA cosmeceutical products!
