To be honest, I have no idea how many years I have known Teacher Chen Wanyu. But every time she returns to Taiwan, she always looks for an opportunity to meet, chat about each other’s current situation, and update cross-strait market intelligence. In this “Taiwan Lecturer Shanghai Development Practice Exchange and Sharing Session”, teacher Rachel first introduced her to everyone With a background in finance, she entered the world of board games by chance. She has been involved in the professional field of gamification education since 2010 and has become an excellent gamification education instructor. Because of the introduction from a friend, she used Shanghai as her base to actively explore the education and training market across the mainland.
Gamification refers to the use of game design elements and game mechanisms in non-game fields to enable authorities to solve problems and increase their contribution.

She also mentioned that the story of Cheng Yi is quite extraordinary. Starting from running his own audio program “Cheng Yi Radio”, Cheng Yi spent less than four years to gather a large number of fans. The story of Cheng Yi also confirms what teacher Rachel mentioned - you must be able to combine your own interests and expertise, and choose the positioning, battlefield and products that best suit you.
“Chengyi Radio” has accumulated more than 2 billion views on 28 platforms including Lizhi FM, NetEase Cloud Music, etc., with 6.5 million fans across the network, and the cumulative views exceed 2 billion. In April 2017, “Chengyi Radio” received multi-million yuan angel round financing led by Meilili and followed by Zhenshun and other funds.
For lecturers who are interested in exploring the mainland market, Rachel suggested that everyone should have their own areas of expertise and have three labels that will impress customers upon hearing them (Debra immediately helped me think of three labels on the spot, namely content hacker, digital expert and…). In addition, she also suggested that everyone develop their own copyright courses and be able to focus on teaching and dismantling classic cases.
Teacher Rachel also shared her recent valuable experience in developing “Games Change the World” Intensive Reading Class, and suggested that friends who are interested in entering the cross-strait lecturer market should develop into content curators.
In the intensive reading class, I will refine the key points and use stories and cases to transform game-based thinking into vivid and understandable content; through 15 lessons of reading level challenges, you will learn the addictive secrets of games; I will also design small activities in work or life for you to use and experience while reading!
How do you become a content curator, and what key points do you need to pay attention to during this process? Rachel The teacher made the following three suggestions:

Perhaps because I have just completed the recording of online course recently, I am particularly touched by the process of making an “intensive reading class” mentioned by teacher Rachel. From the opening of the camp to the course production and other processes, you can see through the timeline evolution on the slide that the production and promotion of the online courses on the other side have been systematic and structured in terms of course planning, pre-heating, enrollment promotion and interactive teaching, which can be said to be both professional and fast.

Rachel The “content curator” mentioned by the teacher happens to be somewhat similar to the “Content Power” that I have been promoting on the “Content Hacker” website. If we regard the course as an exhibition, then the presentation of the content is indeed critical. Content Curation is the act of discovering, gathering, and presenting digital content that surrounds specific subject matter.
