Recently, I was watching “Dreams Come True!” Awakening your handmade soul: 100 must-dos from interest to sales](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010762834?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201902)” This book is written by the Japanese author Masashi Tanaka. As the name suggests, this is a book written for people who are interested in designing and selling handmade works. The author lists 100 “things you need to do to commercialize your interest.” It can be said to be a highly referenced operation guide.

I am curious about the background of this author. It turns out that Mr. Masashi Tanaka is the representative director of WILMART Co., Ltd. (Yahoo! JAPAN Commerce Partner Expert company). Over the years, as an online producer, he has assisted many companies and stores in their website operations, provided consulting services to increase sales and improve operations, and carried out creative work.

The author writes in [this book](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010762834?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books &utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201902) discusses many practical issues, such as “market research”, “product photography and management”, “income and expenditure control” and “website operation and customer service” and other practical issues that are encountered at the practical level. Through this book, friends who are interested in developing their own handicraft business can make their dreams come true step by step.

After reading this book, I found that many of the ideas mentioned by the author coincided with my past thoughts!

For example, things like the 11th thing, “When you can’t target the target customer group, write down all your ideas and then categorize them.” I believe friends who have read the articles on the “Content Hacker” website or taken my copywriting class will be familiar with it. In the article “Three simple steps to help you set an accurate target audience”, I introduced to you that you can set the scope of the target audience through three questions: Which groups will be interested in our products and services? What motivates these people to buy? In what scenarios or situations will these goods and services be needed? What specific benefits or benefits can this product or service bring to these ethnic groups?

The author also reminds everyone not to just target marketing based on age or gender, but also from the perspective of interests, hobbies, wishes and worries.

The 12th thing mentioned in this book, “Brand name and copywriting must be thought of in tandem,” is also a concept I often emphasized in my lectures in the past. The author believes that naming his handicraft brand has two meanings: the first is to improve work motivation, and the second is to point out the concept of the entire business and [target customer group] (https://www.contenthacker.today/2019/01/4-ways-to-better-understand-your-target-audience.html) to show the future direction.

In fact, not only the brand name must be thought of in conjunction with the product copywriting, but I even think that the URL, slogan, etc. of the official website should also echo each other to leave a deep impression on the consumer public.

The 52nd thing mentioned in the book “shows what kind of life you can get if you just buy the product.” I also think this is very important. The author pointed out that we should not only show the convenience and functionality of the product, but also convey the story about the product to customers. I quite agree with this point. Friends who are interested can also refer to FAB Sales Rules.

FAB Sales Rules is a good way for those responsible for sales to provide analysis and introduce product benefits to consumers through text, visual or audio-visual communication.

In addition, the 90th thing mentioned in this book, “As a creator, strive to upgrade your skills” also resonates with me. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a designer, or a blogger, if you want to improve your skills, you must continue to learn. Therefore, the author encourages everyone to read a variety of books, listen to what successful people say, and even travel or visit museum exhibitions. This is indeed a good way to grow yourself!

After watching “[Dreams Come True!” Awakening your handicraft soul: 100 must-dos from interest to sales](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010762834?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_camp aign=ap-201902)”, you will find that this book is not only suitable for designers who want to develop hand-made works, but also helpful for friends who want to start a business or intend to run a personal brand.

Due to length and respect for the rights of the author, please forgive me for not being able to “spoiler” all 100 things here.
