When it comes to trends in the mobile era, many people immediately think of YouTube and live video streaming. The reason is simple, because nowadays many young people can go a day without watching TV, but they cannot help but lock in the audio and video channels of certain Internet celebrities. For example, the recent News of [Penguin Girl](https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/ Penguin Girl) walking around Taiwan has attracted a lot of public attention.

Indeed, the charm of live broadcasts and videos is quite powerful, but have you ever paid attention? Sound media has also quietly emerged. In addition to traditional radio broadcasts and online broadcasts (such as Himalaya FM, Lychee FM, etc.), more and more people are now listening to [podcasts](https://www.contenthacker.today/2019/01/ westwood-ones-podcast-download-fall-2018.html) (Podcast) or audio programs with knowledge content, such as the well-known “Get” on the other side.

Many people think that people no longer like to listen to the radio. In fact, this impression may not be correct. According to a 2015 Nielsen Survey, Americans not only listen to the radio, but the number of people listening to the radio has reached the highest level in history for two consecutive years. As many as 245 million Americans over the age of 12 have listened to the radio in a week.

Although I don’t have the latest data on Taiwan, I have discovered that more and more people are listening to various audio media, and are even starting to try to record audio-type content!

Recently, I have also discovered that more and more friends are getting involved in the world of podcasts, which is really great!

In the future, in addition to running my own YouTube channel and the “Vista’s Little Voice” podcast, I am also planning to record more audio and video content. I hope that in the AI era, everyone can use their fragmented time and spend 10 minutes watching videos or reading 10 minutes of articles to get high-knowledge-density content and immediately know what can be done.
