The beginning of sorting is discarding

整理的开始,就是丢弃

In fact, we already know the truth of many things! But the problem is that “knowing does not mean doing it.” Perhaps this is also the so-called human nature.

During the raging epidemic, many friends spent more time at home. In addition to taking time to study, exercise, relax and spend time with family, is it time to sort out your life? I’ve been thinking about this question a lot lately, always wondering where to start sorting out my life?

Marie Kondo in “[The heart-pounding magic of organizing your life]” (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp. php/vista/products/0010521950?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202106)” mentioned in the book that organizing is “talking to yourself through items.” This reminds me that when I shared writing skills with some friends, I often encouraged everyone to talk to their inner selves more. Well, it turns out that the principle of sorting is the same.

She also said: “The room does not become messy naturally. It is the people who live in it who make it messy.” This sentence sounds deafening. Thinking of my room filled with many books, I can’t help but feel a little ashamed.

是啊,我的房间虽然不大,但也不是一开始就乱成一团的呀,还不都是自己造成的? I remembered that Marie Kondo once said: “Whether you lose something or own something, the ultimate goal is to make yourself happy.” I feel that I really need to sort out [my life] (https://www.bella.tw/articles/celebrities/27604).

I believe you have heard of “Breaking Away” like me. The reason is very simple, but the question is, how should we start organizing?

The journey of organizing in digital space

Not only do my rooms and wardrobes need to be organized, but my computer and cloud space also need to be cleaned up and replaced with new ones. I remember the Google Workspace for Education (formerly known as Google Suite for Education) account I applied for when I was studying at National Taiwan University. It was recently announced that its [storage space limit] (https://support.google.com/a/answer/10431555?hl=zh-Hant) will be significantly reduced, and you will no longer be able to enjoy the benefits of unlimited space capacity.

For example, when I saw my new book “[Slow Reading and Understanding in Seconds]” (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010794093?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&ut in 2018 m_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202106)》Book Launch Photo, I immediately recalled every detail of that time.想想那时还不需要戴口罩,也没有群聚的问题,能与这么多的朋友齐聚一堂,诚然是多么美好的事情啊!

I downloaded these photos and shared them on Facebook. People immediately liked them, and many friends who had attended the conference also left messages. It was so lively!

Who said that the beginning of tidying up is just discarding? In my opinion, it actually welcomes new life!
