In the blink of an eye, I have been working from home for a whole month. I believe there are many friends who are WFH like me. How are you all lately?

Because I am not a nine-to-six office worker, I don’t look forward to weekends as much as most people. Although I think I can generally manage my time well, I usually don’t feel much about the passage of time.

The [Vista Book Club] (https://www.facebook.com/vistabook.club), which was originally held once a month, has also been postponed due to the impact of the epidemic. At 11 o’clock this morning, I happened to be organizing an online corporate reading club for a certain group, so it reminded me of a few things about the reading club.

When it comes to reading, it is actually very simple. In the past, I liked to immerse myself in a book alone; but now, I prefer to read with a group of friends.

Over the past ten years, I have participated in countless reading groups, regularly gathering with a group of friends from all walks of life to read together. Over the past few years, we have read books on psychology, user experience, online marketing, mobile software and social context, etc., which not only increased our knowledge, but also allowed us to understand the world from different perspectives.

Reading has undoubtedly helped me open a window into life. When reading becomes a habit, you can travel around the sea of ​​books and enjoy the joy and richness brought by the text world. You can sit upright and read with a book in hand; naturally, you can also hold an iPad or smartphone and enjoy the fun of flipping through the screen with your fingers in a cafe or on the subway. Even opening the app and listening to audiobooks is a great enjoyment!

Of course, due to the epidemic, it will be difficult to study with everyone face to face in the short term. But it doesn’t matter. As the saying goes, “The road does not change until the mountain turns.” We use video conferencing to hold book clubs, which can also achieve the same effect of learning together.

Before eleven o’clock this morning, I logged into the conference room I had set up on Google Meet. I felt very happy to see a few old friends. The author believes that if you want to persuade consumers to buy a certain product, just attracting attention is not very helpful. The key to promoting purchasing behavior is how do they understand the scene? In other words, in the current time and space context, marketers must understand what are the tasks of consumers? Now, helping customers achieve their immediate goals is the only way to break through the noise and encourage consumers to take action.

Although it was conducted online this time, everyone felt good and the interaction was very lively. It seems that more video conferencing can be used to hold book clubs in the future.
