The two most important things today are to record the online course of “Write Your Own Story” and Get the COVID-19 Vaccine.

When it comes to writing, many friends may immediately think of product copywriting, social posts or literary creation, right? Well, of course these answers are correct, but the field of writing is very broad and is not limited to the above categories.

Jiang Xun, a master of aesthetics, once said: “The new coronavirus reminds us that it is time to get back to getting along with ourselves.” Writing is the best way to talk to yourself. In addition to talking to yourself, through words, you can record the most important people and things in your life and pass on the beautiful memories.

Okay, let me get down to business. Today I will record the fourth lesson, the theme is “Family Writing”. When it comes to family writing, as the name suggests, it means writing the story of your family. I believe that every family has a profound and meaningful story, and these little moments of life are worth recording and passing on, so I encourage everyone to interview your relatives and friends, and then write down these unknown and wonderful stories.

After recording the online course, it was already 3:30 in the afternoon. There was only one hour left before the vaccination time at 4:30 pm. I quickly changed my clothes, put on a mask, and prepared to go to the clinic near my home to get vaccinated.

I still remember that I successfully completed the vaccination appointment at 1:53 pm on July 13th. I guess I was lucky enough to get the vaccine so quickly! I walked to a certain clinic in Minsheng Community and saw people in twos and threes lining up at the door. There was even a blond foreigner in the queue!

I first reported at the counter, then filled out two forms, and then waited for notification. After only waiting for a few minutes, I heard the clinic staff calling my name. I walked forward and rolled up my sleeves… Well, I didn’t even feel anything, and I had already received the vaccine!

After the injection, I rested aside for about ten minutes. Before leaving the clinic, the pharmacist gave me a few fever-reducing pills just in case I needed them.

After returning home and wandering around on the Internet, I saw [Cai Zhihao] (Cai Zhihao), a friend I have known for many years (https://taiwan.chtsai.org/2021/07/16/wushi_shidai_de_jiti_chengnianli/), saying: “Adults aged 50 to 64 began to receive the COVID-19 publicly funded vaccine today. Many friends of my age completed the vaccination on the first day like me. It is like a collective coming-of-age ceremony for the fifties.” Well, I think this statement is very appropriate!

From Facebook, we can learn that many friends also received the vaccine today. Seeing everyone sharing their vaccination experiences on Facebook, it really feels like participating in a “collective coming-of-age ceremony”!

Many friends heard that I had been vaccinated, and they also sent messages to remind me to drink more water and get more rest. It feels great that everyone cares about each other, thank you my dear friends.
