Friends who often read my e-newsletter must know that as long as the weather conditions permit, I will always go out for exercise at 5:30 every morning. A walk along Minsheng East Road and Minsheng East Road, the two main arteries in Minsheng Community, is at least six kilometers long.
I just walk and walk like this every day, and I don’t even know that the soles of my shoes are worn out. Oh my, I’m such an idiot in life. It rained heavily a few days ago, and it was very difficult to walk on the road. Now I can finally feel the meaning of the idiom “It rains and the road is slippery.”
Go to East Lake to buy new shoes
Taking advantage of [Father’s Day] (https://www.vistacheng.com/2021/08/fathers-day.html), many merchants are launching discounts, so this afternoon I drove to the Donghu store of [Family Shoes] (https://www.familyshoes.com.tw/) to purchase new shoes. In the past, I was used to buying shoes at the Heping Store opposite Longmen Junior High School, but since it happened to be in the opposite direction of my previous trip, I listened to my mother’s suggestion and went to Neihu instead. To put it bluntly, it stands to reason that Neihu should be closer to my home. Just cross the Civil Rights Bridge to get there… But for some reason, I always feel that the bridge is extremely huge, as if it is divided into two worlds in my heart.
Although Neihu is not far from me, it always feels a bit strange. In the past, due to work, I was only familiar with the area around Ruiguang Road and Zhouzi Street. I rarely went to East Lake. I took the Minquan Main Line to East Lake. After exiting the Minquan Tunnel, I saw the Donghu Store and quickly got off the bus to buy shoes!
It’s funny to say that I had my eye on a pair of black sneakers, and I was about to ask the store clerk to help me find the right shoe size. Unexpectedly, he glanced at it and replied coolly: “Sir, these are women’s shoes!” Haha, how embarrassing.
After five minutes, I finally picked out my shoes. With a pair of gray sneakers from Mizuno and a pair of black sneakers from PUMA, I walked up from the basement to the first floor to check out. When I got to the counter, the female clerk asked me if I wanted to apply for a membership card? I didn’t comment and just followed the good advice. After paying 100 yuan and handing over my mobile phone, I just took this opportunity to observe how the clerk helped the customer apply for a membership card?
I saw that she downloaded an App from Apple’s App Store. I thought I just needed to open the App and fill in some basic information and I was done. I didn’t expect that I would be redirected to a webpage later and had to fill in a bunch of information. It was not very convenient! In recent years, we can see that small and medium-sized enterprises have paid more and more attention to customer relationship management. This is indeed a good thing, but in the process of operating membership, please remember to pay more attention to the user experience!
After about ten minutes, I finally opened my membership card. After paying, I successfully took home two pairs of sneakers. Well, starting tomorrow, I will let my new shoes accompany me on my journey!
