The professional baseball season that baseball fans have been waiting for for a long time has begun. [Chinese Professional Baseball] (http://www.cpbl.com.tw/) has played the first few games with great vigor, and all the strong baseball teams have started to play. It seems that this year is another “hitting year” with high pitching and low pitching.

As far as the development of the team’s combat power is concerned, “Sustainable management” is of course the highest guiding principle. Therefore, although the acquisition of combat power is important, the cultivation of potential rookies should not be underestimated. For each team, the annual draft is an important battle, and the second-team competition is also very important, allowing the team to strengthen the strength of the rookies through a large number of games and training.

The focus of the scout’s job is to find diamonds in the rough, but for a head coach who is under pressure from a record, nothing is more important than victory. At this time, I am afraid he will pay more attention to the player’s performance! Therefore, when arranging the starting lineup of the first army, the coaching staff will try their best to think in the direction of “maximizing combat effectiveness.”

This is true on the court, and even more so in the highly competitive workplace. In the past, when newcomers were looking for jobs, many companies might be willing to give them a buffer of one to three months to familiarize themselves with the corporate culture and industry technology, and even have seniors and seniors to ask for advice. But now, perhaps due to changes in the industrial structure, the cost of teaching people is very high, which has also led to the industry becoming increasingly impatient to train potential newcomers. They only hope to find immediate capabilities that can stand on their own through job banks, entrepreneurship competitions, or various campus recruitment activities.

This has become the norm, but what about freshers looking for a job?

In addition to the graduation certificate, many people have no work experience that they can talk about, and they lack the professional skills and stability required by the industry. Naturally, it is difficult to find a job they like.

I recently received a letter from a graduate student, which happened to talk about issues related to the employment of fresh people in society. After reading his resume, I directly made a few suggestions for improvement, and the classmate quickly wrote back to me and said in the letter, “Your sentence, “Businessmen want immediate combat capabilities, not potential rookies,” made me suddenly enlightened.”

In fact, the domestic industrial environment has not improved significantly in the past few years. Therefore, when the “22K low salary” has become a common phenomenon in the industry, competition in the workplace has become increasingly fierce. With too many people to do the work, the industry naturally prefers to recruit immediate combat forces who can take charge of their own duties, instead of spending time teaching newcomers step by step.

I believe that young friends can all understand this truth, but how many of them can face this reality? Some people may not have confidence in themselves, or may not have practical work experience to prove their skills, which naturally makes it difficult for them to gain a favorable position in the job market.

If you are still studying, in addition to studying hard and cultivating your expertise, it is best to gain valuable work experience through internships or participating in some industry-university cooperation projects. In addition, you should also seek advice from your teachers and seniors and find ways to learn about the industrial fields that interest you.

If you have already graduated, you must be more courageous to face reality, take stock of your strengths and resources, and try to show your characteristics and talents in front of employers. Having said that, this is also the first step in developing personal brand!

If you can’t find your ideal job at the moment, you might as well take a roundabout way and first find a way to enter an industry you like (or at least don’t reject), and then wait for an opportunity to get the position you like.

For example, what should you do if you want to enter the Internet industry as a product manager (PM), but you have no similar work experience during your studies or did not graduate from a related major? My suggestion is to accelerate the development of your professional skills in the field of product managers. You can also try to enter related industries (such as the Internet and e-commerce circles), and even try to focus on positions other than PM and seek connections.

Are you a promising rookie with great potential in the future? Or is it the sought-after immediate combat power?

Everyone has their own unique potential and personality traits, but the cruel thing is that not every potential rookie can become a shining force in the workplace.

If you want to shine in the workplace, you must work hard as early as possible, think clearly about your position, and then seek development in many ways. After you have learned a lot, you can then develop your own personal brand!

For fresh people who need opportunities, it may also be a feasible way to start from the grassroots level first, build up strength and capital, and then seek opportunities to change jobs or change tracks in the future.

I wish everyone can find their own piece of heaven!
