I am very happy to have the opportunity to be interviewed by the China Broadcasting News Network’s “New Book Express” program and talk freely about content marketing with the host Mr. Zhou Xiang. I heard that the audio and video file of this episode is now online, so let me share it with you.

First of all, let’s talk about the focus of this book, which is the FAB Selling Technique. In other words, it is used to write the unique value proposition of your own products. Simply put, the “FAB Sales Rule” is a good way for those responsible for sales to provide analysis and introduce product benefits to potential customers through text, visual or audio-visual communication.

F refers to Feature or Fact, which means to introduce to you the attributes or functions of goods and services. And A means Advantage, which means advantage. Do you want to explain the difference with competitors through words? As for B, it is Benefit, which is also the benefit and value that the consumer public attaches most importance to.

Using the “FAB Sales Rules” to write copy, you can explain it from three levels: F, A, B, etc., and organize it into a complete value proposition that can drive sales; of course, you can also discuss the interests that the target audience values ​​or cares about most, so that the views we want to convey can reach a consensus with the other party. Having said that, only by clearly informing the specific benefits or benefits that you can bring to the target audience can you win the attention and orders of the consumer public.

In addition, the host also asked how to write a blog post in half an hour? In fact, I think the focus is not on improving writing speed, but on establishing your own writing model and style. Including writing, typesetting, image and text arrangement, etc. In fact, there are many details in each proposition!

Well, if we simplify the problem first and focus on writing, then I think that if you want to write quickly and well, you must focus on the development of the following three abilities:

The first ability is writing ability: writing should be simple, easy to understand, valuable and interesting. In addition, there must be no typos and punctuation must be used appropriately. More importantly, the content of the article must not be preachy, but must successfully arouse the interest of the target audience.

The second ability is expression ability: the logical structure of the text should be simple and clear, and have the ability to summarize, organize and express clearly. We can communicate through storytelling, which can resonate with readers and leave a good impression.

The third ability, value ability: Focus on readers and think more about what they need or are interested in, rather than what you want to express? Remember, you need to be able to create benefits for your target audience by solving their problems in order to get closer to each other.
