This afternoon, a good friend shared with me a certain book he saw. It said that product copywriting only needs to be written to 60 points, and other links are needed to cooperate. Well, I can’t say that this is wrong, but the point is, how should the copy be written to a passing level?

This incident reminds me of the writing courses I have offered in recent years. Whether I am teaching you how to write product copy or press releases, I always spend a lot of time preparing lessons, and I never hesitate to share many practical principles and wonderful cases with you. But from the exercises in class or the assignments handed in after class, I can also deeply understand the importance of deliberate practice in improving writing.

Therefore, starting in 2019, I want to launch a “Vista Writing Companion Plan” to accompany everyone to improve their writing. Whether you want to learn to write product copy, social posts, press releases or blogs, let me accompany you along the way!

As the saying goes, “The master leads the way, and practice depends on the individual.” The writing courses in the market are limited by time constraints, and most of them can only teach some writing principles and techniques. If learners don’t spend time and effort to practice, they can often only learn a superficial knowledge, and it is difficult to make progress.

Therefore, the “Vista Writing Companion Plan” I launched this time is different from the general physical or online courses that only explain the principles, but will focus on practical exercises.

“Vista Writing Companion Plan”, the relevant details are as follows:

• Time: One period is 3 months.

• Frequency: Learners should write at least one article every two weeks. If they are particularly busy during a certain period and cannot cooperate, they may ask for leave in advance or apply for an extension. The limit is two times.

• Fee: The first phase of founding members enjoys a discounted price of 3,000 yuan. Starting from the second period, the fee for each period is 5,000 yuan.

*Quota: 12 people (you cannot accompany too many friends at one time, you can only sign up first and win first).

• 8 people have registered, only 4 places are left!

*Plan: After paying the fee, you can join an exclusive writing companion club. Learners can propose writing projects that they are interested in or want to learn, and agree on a time to discuss with me online first.

• I hope to know your motivations and needs for joining the “Vista Writing Companion Program” so that I can provide more practical assistance. For example, if you want to learn to build a personal brand, I would suggest starting with running a blog; if you want to become a marketing master who can sell out all your products, Then start practicing by writing product copy; if you want to become a very powerful fan club editor or media PR expert, you naturally have to start with social posts or press releases…

• Learners should publish at least 1 original article in the club every 2 weeks (for example: community posts, product copywriting, blogs…). Through the power of peers to supervise and encourage each other, I will also accompany everyone and make suggestions for improvement.

• In addition, I will also share information related to writing teaching in the club from time to time.

• Rewards: In order to encourage everyone to publish more creations, I will select outstanding works from time to time and provide prizes such as good books, qualifications for reading groups or lectures, limited edition writing resources, etc.

• Publish: I will hold a results presentation at the end of the semester for learners to meet each other.

• Invite everyone to talk about the writing process and experiences during this period, to communicate and learn from each other.

• At the same time, I will also share with you the latest information related to content marketing and copywriting (the price of general physical courses for open classes starts at least 2,000 yuan).

• My writing is not good. Am I suitable to participate in the “Vista Writing Companion Program”?

• This plan is designed for you. As long as you don’t exclude writing, I believe that after three months of continuous practice, you will see the results of progress.

• I want to practice writing more. Can I write a few more articles every week?

*Of course welcome! I will also provide some suggestions or opinions on the articles written by each learner.

• I don’t live in Taipei, can I still participate?

• In addition to the final results presentation conference (which will be held at a location near a MRT station in Taipei), the “Vista Writing Companion Project” is mainly conducted through Facebook groups and LINE groups, which are suitable for distance online learning.
