The journey of cross-border learning opened up my imagination and changes to higher levels of teaching. Today, I would like to talk to you about my path of evolution and further study.
How to choose a course

Understand your own needs: First of all, you need to know what is the purpose of paying for classes at your own expense? It’s about learning knowledge, teaching methods, expanding social circles, and finding the stratosphere…. Taking my own “Presentation” as an example, I hope that the audience listening to my speech will feel like they are enjoying a feast and can smoothly convey my teaching philosophy. Just like my teaching, if students don’t want to learn, I will work hard to improve myself to make them want to learn, instead of complaining that students don’t learn. The course and lecture lecturers must take full responsibility. This is what I expect from myself.

The more diligent the students are and the harder they go through learning, the more they will want to sort it out in words, and the more they will write. I will mention the teacher’s teaching methods, the learning process, reflect on my past blind spots, see my own changes, and even see the transformation of students in the same period. Their growth will become the learning indicators I desire.

Key points of observation in the course
The level of students in the open class courses varies. Some students have a strong foundation and some have zero foundation.
As a teacher, I hope that in addition to learning the course content, I can also think about how to integrate the Chinese language major, create a class management atmosphere, and use teaching techniques to improve learning effectiveness, instead of simply zeroing in on myself.
Before choosing a course, I will make the following ten observations.

How teachers teach lessons: There are hundreds of ways to teach lessons. The better students absorb and do the better, the more effective the teaching will be. Teacher communication skills: Build the profession on popular communication, so that students in different fields can understand it, follow it, and apply it across borders, instead of leaving students with more doubts or just thinking that the lecturer is great. A truly great teacher makes students feel great after studying hard.

Teacher curriculum planning and arrangement: The rigorous curriculum can be divided into three parts, before class, during class and after class. Pre-class homework helps the lecturer understand the starting behavior of the students. If the pre-class planning is done well, it will be easier to have a sense of surprise during the class and feel that the course is tailor-made. During the class, the teaching content is taught in depth and applied flexibly, allowing students to practice on the spot and feel the difference before and after transformation, which will be a great enjoyment. Some instructors will provide independent exercises or give personal feedback after class, which can make students feel more evolved.

I have the following three observations to provide reference for the excellent administrative team that is very helpful to students:

Handouts: There is a note column for copying notes, and blank spaces for filling in the lecturer’s key points. The cover also has the students’ names printed on it. The handouts are no longer handouts, but an exclusive notebook with my own name. How can I not cherish this unique essence of the course?

Meals: The lunch box is not greasy. If you need to discuss homework at noon, the lunch box is also convenient and quick to prepare. Afternoon snacks are for students to replenish their physical strength. Afternoon tea allows the brain-burning courses to be satisfied with food, so that the brain can produce more powerfully.

Exclusive gifts: What kind of course gifts can be sent to your heart? Combined with courses to strengthen after-school learning, such as: postcards, playing cards, coffee bags, notebooks, tablecloths, etc., they are not only dazzling, but also gifts that turn abstract concepts into entities.
Since taking the open class course, I have given many lectures in school and tried my best to follow the administrative model of the open class. I also learned how to handle details from my assistant Ariel.
Tracy, the person in charge of the national training company, said: “Good administration is such that students cannot feel their existence.” However, most of the training in the public service system often ignores the charm of administration, which is a pity.
